(Clearwisdom.net) The 610 Office is an organization that was established on June 10, 1999, for the sole purpose of persecuting Falun Gong. The office has committed countless crimes over the past ten years. However, through the efforts of Falun Gong practitioners, some 610 Office staff members have learned the truth about Falun Going. Their consciences awoke, and they began using their position to protect Falun Gong practitioners. The 610 Office in our area is one such example.
After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began its persecution of Falun Gong, some practitioners clarified the truth by writing letters to various government agencies, including the 610 Office director in our area. The letters stated that the inhuman persecution of Falun Gong is a criminal act when viewed from both legal and moral perspectives. Later, practitioners sent the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to 610 Office staff members in our area. Eventually, the local 610 Office director withdrew from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and he expressed his disdain for his job title. Falun Gong practitioners pointed out that he could in fact use his job title to do good deeds.
The past few years have not always been smooth sailing in our area. Some practitioners have been sent to forced labor camps and brainwashing centers. Whenever brainwashing sessions are organized in our area, we clarify the truth to the people there. After a period of observation, and contact between the local 610 Office director and practitioners, the director told us, “Falun Gong practitioners are the kindest and most upright people. We will never organize brainwashing sessions here again.” We practitioners understand that Master is paving the road for us to save more sentient beings.
In one instance, the upper level 610 Office instructed two former Falun Gong practitioners who had become spies to look for some practitioners that they had met at a forced labor camp, as the 610 Office wanted to locate our truth-clarification materials production centers as well as the more diligent practitioners. At the same time, the upper level 610 Office notified the 610 Office in our area to follow the two spies. The local 610 Office director told the policemen to wait at the bus stop, and as soon as the spies got off the bus they were arrested and sent back to the office. The staff people at the upper level 610 Office were furious.
In another instance, a practitioner was reported to the police while he was on the street talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution and helping people withdraw from the CCP. The police planned to ransack this practitioner's home, but upon hearing about it, the local 610 Office director decided to accompany them. The practitioner blocked the policemen at the door as they were attempting to arrest him. The director said, “What's the use of arresting him? He will still practice Falun Gong after he is released. He is so old, and he is a local man. We see each other all the time. Why incur hatred? Just let it be.”
Once, the director received a notice that someone had reported a local practitioner for handing out the Nine Commentaries, and the director was commanded to arrest the practitioner. The director found a local practitioner and said, “I heard that so-and-so was spreading the Nine Commentaries. I have been ordered to arrest him, and I will do that this afternoon.” Thus, the practitioner was notified in advance and was able avoid the arrest.
A few years ago, the “upper office” noticed that there were no brainwashing sessions being held in our area, and they wanted to force our local practitioners to attend the sessions. They boasted that they would not stop until they had “transformed” every practitioner. The local 610 Office director told the Domestic Security Team, “Don't arrest people by force. Only talk to them, take them only if they want to go, and let it be if they don't want to.” For the most part, it has been this way over the past few years, with the exception of a few local practitioners who were arrested in other locations and sent to forced labor camps or brainwashing centers.
One year, the local Domestic Security Team received an order to search for Falun Gong truth-clarification materials production centers in our area. The local director again located a practitioner in our area who he thought to be in charge of a production center, and he told this practitioner about the order. The director told the practitioner, “Pay attention to your safety.” Of course, we practitioners would never let CCP officials know about our materials production centers. We send forth righteous thoughts every day as one body, targeting the 610 Office and brainwashing centers, to dissolve every evil element in other dimensions.
Last year, a fellow practitioner was passing out flyers on the street and clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. He neglected his safety and was reported. He was then arrested and taken to the police department. His name was reported to the city 610 Office. The city 610 Office deputy director and the officer in charge of the 610 brainwashing centers went to the police department with the intention of bringing the detained practitioner to their office. The 610 Office director in our area asked the officer in charge of the brainwashing center, “Can you guarantee to 'transform' him? Think carefully. Take him if you are sure you can 'transform' him, but don't organize any more such sessions if you are unable to.” This officer was shocked. In the past, this practitioner had been sent to brainwashing centers many times but was never “transformed.” The officer replied, “Then I will take some other ones.” The local 610 Office director said, “Think carefully about whom you can 'transform', and don't feel insulted in the end.” The officer from the brainwashing center thought about it for a quite a while and then left, and the police department released the arrested practitioner.
The CCP established the 610 Office and instructed its staff members to persecute Falun Gong. In fact, the CCP is only pushing its 610 Office members off a cliff. Falun Gong saves sentient beings, and those who harm Falun Gong practitioners will face karmic retribution. In the hearts of Falun Gong practitioners, there is only compassion and no hatred. They see 610 Office members as victims of the CCP. They hope that all 610 Office staff members can be more like the local 610 Office director in this article who chooses to be kind and to protect Falun Gong practitioners. His good deeds will surely bring blessings.
