(Clearwisdom.net) One day an eleven-year-old Dafa practitioner from Taiwan used the telephone to advise people in China to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its associated organizations. Other fellow practitioners seemed to be watching this young practitioner and were sending righteous thoughts for his success. When the phone connection was made, the person in China denied being a member of the CCP. The young practitioner focused on explaining the facts about Dafa. When a question was raised about whether he was a member of the Nationalist Party, he was able to avoid that question and continued with clarifying the facts and explaining why withdrawing from the CCP was important for one's personal safety.
At this point the listener in China indicated that she was a member of the Young Pioneers organization. The young practitioner displayed a lot of wisdom. When the listener was hesitating, he would present the facts again but from a different perspective. When he finished clarifying all the facts, he went on to tell the listener about how to use software to break through the CCP's Internet blockade. Then, for the fourth time he asked for the listener's opinion about withdrawing. At this point the listener agreed to withdraw. I thought that what he did was just as effective as any adult practitioner.
He was not moved by the questions or attitude of the listener and was able to focus on clarifying the facts. I think this is what we need to do when we talk to people about withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. This young practitioner was able to do so naturally. Many fellow practitioners were surprised, and so was I.
When I thought about this some more and tried to explain what happened based on Dafa principles, it made a lot of sense.
From an everyday person's standpoint, a young practitioner lacks experience, has not cultivated very long, and does not have as much knowledge as an adult practitioner. On the other hand, he has not acquired as many human notions, and this is his strength.
When we clarify the facts to people, we are often affected by their questions and attitude. This is due to our human notions (for example, having a habit of competing, worrying about success or losing face, etc.) When we react to other people's attitudes, we become off-balance and may miss out on what we want to say. Of course, while we are reacting, we have no compassion or righteous thoughts. On the other hand, young practitioners have a simple objective and have few human notions. This is why they are not moved by the listener's questions. Their words flow naturally, which is exactly what is needed while advising people to withdraw.
I now have a better understanding as to why an advancement in personal cultivation is helpful for clarifying the facts to people. The ability to clarify the facts about Dafa does not depend on ordinary people's knowledge. Indeed, an advancement in cultivation is the key. Eliminating more human notions and maintaining a calm and peaceful mindset are the most important things to have when clarifying the facts.
