(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in eight provinces. According to this report, nine Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 17 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yang Fujun and Five Others Arrested
Mr. Yang Fujun, Mr. Song Dianjie, Mr. Wang Quanliang, Ms. Song Guixiang and her husband, and Ms. Gao Wenlan from Tonghua City were arrested on November 22, 2012.
2. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Mr. Lang Dongjing and Four Others Arrested
Mr. Lang Dongjing, Ms. Li Shuhong, Mr. Gao Yongjun, Ms. Cheng Changling, and her son from Lushuihe, Fusong County, were arrested on the morning of October 30, 2012. Mr. Lang and Ms. Li were released on November 9. Mr. Gao, Ms. Cheng and her son are still in custody.
3. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Chai Xiufang Arrested
Ms. Chai Xiufang was arrested in front of her home on the morning of November 22, 2012, by officers who had been waiting for her. They seized her house key and confiscated her laptop computer and a set of Zhuan Falun books in hardback. Ms. Chai's whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhou Wei Arrested
Ms. Zhou Wei from Lanzhou City was arrested by four officers from the Jianlanlu Police Station in the Qilihe District, Lanzhou City, on the afternoon of November 21, 2012, while she was at work at the Haimo Science and Technology Corporation in Yantan High Tech Zone. She was taken to Pingantai Forced Labor Camp in Gansu Province for a term of 18 months. She was not admitted and was released because of her high blood pressure.
5. [Yangquan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Qiaolan Held in Yangquan City Detention Center
Ms. Wang Qiaolan was arrested in Shijiazhuang City by officers including Guan Fuming from Pingding County on the evening of November 6, 2012. She is being held in the Yangquan City Detention Center.

6. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Xiuhua Arrested at Home
Ms. Wu Xiuhua from Haojiatuan Village, Zhuangyuan District, Qixia City, was arrested at home on the afternoon of November 22, 2012.
7. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Mr. Yang Shugui Arrested
Mr. Yang Shugui from Hefei City was arrested at work by agents from the Hefei 610 Office on November 13, 2012. His whereabouts are unknown.
8. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Meng Yu Detained; Home Ransacked
Ms. Meng Yu from Shengli Oil Field was detained by community night watchmen on the evening of November 21, 2012, for removing posters on a window that defamed Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked.
9. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Shen Jili, Ms. Li Fuqin, and Ms. Li Xueling Detained
Mr. Shen Jili and Ms. Li Fuqin are being held in the Weifang City Brainwashing Center. Ms. Li Xueling is being held in the Weifang City Detention Center.
10. [Shanghai] Mr. Zhou Xianwen Arrested
Mr. Zhou Xianwen from the Yangpu District of Shanghai was arrested on September 26, 2012. After being held in custody for a month, he was taken to a brainwashing center and held for 24 days. A physical exam revealed that he suffered from a heart condition and he was released on November 19, 2012.
11. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Guo Yuqing Arrested
Mr. Guo Yuqing from Zhaoyuan City was arrested for explaining the facts about Falun Gong in a market on November 15, 2012. He was held in the Zhaoyuan City Detention Center where officers from Zhaoyuan City 610 Office tortured him to try to extort a confession. An officer kicked Mr. Guo's leg and broke it on the morning of November 21, because Mr. Guo was not cooperating with the interrogation. Mr. Guo is in the Zhaoyuan City People's Hospital.
12. [Bangbu City, Anhui Province] Ms. Song Yulan Arrested
Ms. Song Yulan from Bangbu City was arrested by officers from the Zhanggongshan Police Station for handing out informational materials about Falun Gong in the Zhanggongshan area on the evening of November 8, 2012. She was taken to the No.2 Detention Center and has been held there since then. Her home was ransacked and a computer, two printers, a VCD player, over 50 Falun Gong books, and informational materials were confiscated.
13. [Shanghai] Ms. Wang Qiaoyang Arrested
Ms. Wang Qiaoyang went to Shanghai to look for a job in the middle of November, and was arrested.
14. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tang Yuan Sent to Brainwashing Center after Prison Term Ends
Ms. Tang Yuan from Chengdu City is a retired associate professor from the Central Culture Management Cadre Institute. Her three-and-a-half-year prison term was supposed to be over in October 2012. However, she refused to renounce her belief in Falun Gong in prison was taken directly to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center when her prison term ended.
15. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Lin Zeqing Still Held in Huanggang No.1 Detention Center
