(Minghui.org) Mr. Wu Jiajun, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Laizhou City, was arrested on the evening of February 28, 2012. Laizhou 610 Office agents made the arrest. Mr. Wu has been illegally detained for more than nine months. His family hasn't received any information about him and is very worried. Local court officials have tried him several times without informing his family.

Around 6:00 p.m. on the day of his arrest, eight agents from the Laizhou City 610 Office arrived in five cars at Mr. Wu's home in Wujiazhuangzi Village, Xiyou Town. Shortly after, five other officers from the Sanshandao Border Police Station also showed up. As soon as they entered the house, they began searching everywhere. They took all of Mr. Wu's personal belongings related to Falun Gong and put them into their cars. The looted items included 8 printers, 2 computers, 3 cell phones, a CD-burner, laminator, 30 Falun Dafa books, a set of Fa-lecture videos, and about 40 truth clarification DVDs.

The perpetrators first took Mr. Wu to the Dianzi Brainwashing Center and then transferred him to the Laizhou City Detention Center. His family demanded his release many times, but the detention center authorities refused to give them a reasonable explanation or allow them to visit Mr. Wu.

Mr. Wu has worked as an electrical appliance repairman for many years. Since he began practicing Falun Dafa in 1999, he has lived by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He frequently repaired computers, printers, and other electrical appliances for local people without charging a penny. He is now being persecuted simply for his belief in Falun Dafa.
