(Minghui.org) The annual Wannianji Festival in Tsuoying, Kaohsiung, started in 2001. The main events of the festival are “Welcoming the Fire Lion” and a parade. In recent years, it has become a nationwide cultural activity, and many tourists come to the festival. On October 28, the Divine Land Marching Band of Taiwan, consisting of more than 100 local Falun Gong practitioners, was invited again to perform in the parade. The mayor of Tsuoying, Hu Junhsiung, highly praised their contribution, and invited the band to come again next year.

The host of the parade introduced the band to the public as one of the largest marching bands in the world. “They make the festival more international,” the host thanked the band for their contribution.

Some spectators expressed amazement at the variety of the instruments in the band. When the parade passed by a temple, the monks also came out, watching the band's performance. On seeing the large banner after the band, which read “Falun Dafa is good,” many people read it out loudly.
