(Minghui.org) Officials from the 610 Office in Pengjiang District, Jiangmen City arrested Ms. Li Aiqun, a practitioner from Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province again on October 23, 2012. They later took her to a detention center in Jiangmen. Another practitioner, Ms. Feng Qifeng, was also detained there. Their families were not allowed to visit them in the detention center.

Officials from this 610 Office had been monitoring Ms. Li Aiqun closely and continually persecuted her. Her husband was very frightened. Moreover, due to being brainwashed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) culture, he dared not to accept the truth about Falun Gong, and objected that his wife was practicing.

Informants reported that Ms. Li Aiqun had been arrested because she went to visit an older lady practitioner, who was in the Center Hospital at Jiangmen North Street, where her injured legs were being treated. Ms. Li’s daughter took a picture of her and reported her to the police.

Ms. Li Aiqun, in her fifties, is retired from the Electrical Machinery Company in Jiangmen. She was the former volunteer director of the instruction center in Jiangmen. She was arrested in June 2000, when she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong and was sentenced to two years of forced labor. She was severely tortured both physically and spiritually while being incarcerated in the Sanshui Women’s Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province. She refused to give in. Her firm belief in Falun Gong deterred the evil persecutors and touched many former practitioners, who had been "transformed" under pressure. As a result, she was detained for another six months of forced labor after her term expired. She was released from the labor camp in December 2002.

On February 19, 2004, two officials from the Dongcang Community Office in Jiangmen City and two officers from the Nonglin Police Station attempted to force her to write the three statements. Ms. Li refused to write them. Police officers arrested her at home on the morning of February 20, and she was later taken to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center.

We sincerely hope that Falun Gong practitioners in China and overseas as well as righteous people speak up and offer their support in helping to rescue Ms. Li Aiqun, so that her family can understand the truth about Falun Gong, stop cooperating with the evil, and clearly recognize their evil deeds. We also hope that whoever participates in the persecution can rein in at the brink of the precipice and leave themselves a way out.
