(Minghui.org) At 9:00 a.m. on November 3, 2012, Peng Changhua, chief of the Qianlianghu Town 610 Office and secretary of the Political and Legislative Affairs Committee in Junshan District, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, ordered different agencies to arrest many practitioners who live in Yueyang City and Junshan District. The agencies included were: the Junshan District Domestic Security Division, Cengshan Police Station, the Liangxinbao Police Station, Caisanghu Police Station, judiciary institutes, and the Cengshan Patrol Division divided into two teams in political vehicles. The practitioners' homes were ransacked and they were taken to a brainwashing center. Among them were many elderly seniors. Some have been on a hunger strike and their health is in critical status.
According to our preliminary investigation, currently, many practitioners are being held at a brainwashing center located at the Cengshan Senior Center in Qianlianghu. They are: Ms. Li Nianchun, in her seventies, Ms. Cai Ailian and Ms. Zhu Chunxiu in their sixties, Ms. Ren Xiyun, over 50 years old, Ms. Li Xiaoyun, Mr. Luo Jichuan, Mr. Zhong Haoxiang, Ms. Wang Ruzhen, Ms. Ou Xiaxiu, Ms. Dai Zuolan, Ms. Deng Hongxiu, Ms. Wang Benju and Ms. Wu Xizhen. In total, thirteen practitioners are currently being detained. Ms. Li Nianchun has been on hunger strike for quite a few days, and currently she is in critical condition.
On November 2, 2012, Yuan Chunhua, director of the Junshan District Judiciary Institute and police officers from the Junshan District Domestic Security Division, arrested Ms. Cai Ailian. They then went to Ms. Li Nianchun's home and lied to her, saying they were going to have her study for two days, Ms. Li rejected this lie so they failed to take her into custody. At 4:00 p.m., they stormed into Ms. Deng Faxiu's home in the Junshan District and arrested her. They also ransacked her home, and arrested Ms. Liu, Ms. Xiao, and Ms. Liu, all of whom are in their seventies, Ms. Zeng Xihui was also arrested; she is in her sixties. They took those practitioners to the Luowang Police Station and held them there for over an hour, and later they were taken to the brainwashing center located at the Junshan Senior Center.
On the same day, the officers also arrested Ms. Ren Xiyun, who lives in Cengshan Town and is in her fifties, and Ms. Zhu Chunxiu, 62 years old, who was a guest at her house. They also entered the home of Ms. Zhao Chunlan's parents and ransacked it. They demanded to know Ms. Zhao's whereabouts.
At 10:00 a.m, on November 3, 2012, Yan Dingji and other police officers, approximately seven in total, knocked on seventy year old practitioner, Mr. Wang Hongbo's door. Mr. Wang refused to open the door. While they were kicking at his door, they verbally abused him, and then left. Later, they went to Mr. Zhao Shiyuan and Mr. Chen Peiqiong's home. They confiscated Master's photo, Zhuan Falun and other personal property. One police officer, a female, even stuck her hand into Mr. Chen Peiqiong's pocket to grab three MP3 players. They failed to arrest those practitioners.
On November 7, 2012, Ms. Li Nianchun went to visit fellow practitioners at the brainwashing center and was also arrested.
On the night of October 25, 2012, Ms. Wu Xiaoming went from her sister's home to her own apartment. She was almost there when she was arrested by about eight officers from the Lou District 610 Office of Yueyang City, Domestic Security Division and Miluo City 610 Office, Domestic Security Division. They put her into the Haolaiwu Hotel, Miluo City. Mr. Yang Jian, in his fifties, and Mr. Xiang Jinhua, in his sixties, were also taken to the brainwashing center.
On October 26, 2012, Ms. Peng Dongbin, 62 years old, a retired doctor of the Hunan Province Miluo City Schistosomiasis Control Office was preparing food at home when officers from the Miluo City 610 Office, Domestic Security Division barged into her home and arrested her. They did not even allow her to change her clothes. Ms. Peng is also detained at the brainwashing center. Fifteen employees from her employer were assigned to monitor her in shifts.
Four collaborators were assigned from the Changsha City Brainwashing Center, including three males and one female. The three males all shared the last name Li. One called himself, Li Xiuwen, from Hengyang City, and said his name is on Minghui. The female was named Chen Mei, from Hainan City. She has been to different prisons, labor camps and brainwashing centers to transform others. They used all kinds of methods to torture those four practitioners: playing DVDs that slander Dafa, verbally attacking Falun Gong and trying to force them to write the three statements. Currently, these four people are back home.
