(Minghui.org) In the morning on November 3, 2012, Ms. Du Xuejun, a middle school teacher in Qianxi County, and Ms. Zhang Ruiying, who is retired from the business bureau, were in Guozhuangzi Village, Baimiaozi Township. Village head Zhang Shukui secretly called Zhang Lichuan, the director of the township police station, who organized police officers to catch both ladies. Ms. Du drove her motorcycle into a police car when she was trying to escape. Both Ms. Du and Ms. Zhang were illegally arrested.
That afternoon, the police took them to the Women and Children's Hospital in Qianxi County for an exam. The next morning, they took them to the No. 2 Detention Center in Tangshan City.
Ms. Du Xuejun has taught at the No.1 Middle School in Qianxi County for many years. She has an excellent reputation. She began practicing Falun Dafa around 1997. Not long after, many of her long term diseases disappeared. She followed the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and worked diligently.
During the past more than 10 years, she was the head-teacher of the 8th graders. No matter how chaotic the students were, after she took charge, the class soon turned around and became well behaved. Formerly disruptive students became her good friends. She cared for her students and was responsible to them. Once when she noticed a boy had diarrhea. She said, “Do not go to the school canteen, because when you bring the food back, it could be cold. Come with me.” She took him to her home, let him rest, and cooked him hot noodle soup. The boy was touched deeply. Another time, she saw a student who was not in a good mood and asked him what happened. The student said his parents were ill and they had no money, so he could not continue coming to school. Ms. Du went to the student's home and talked to his parents. The parents were touched and said, “You treat us so nicely, we will overcome any difficulties so that he can continue his schooling.”
When the Communist Party started to persecute Falun Gong in 1999, many teachers and students were deceived. Ms. Du tried to {{clarify the truth} to the teachers many times. Students were scared as soon as they heard about Falun Gong. Ms. Du analyzed the staged Tiananmen Square Self-immolation incident with her students. She told them that Falun Gong teaches people to be good, to live according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and to always think of others first.
Parents who didn't know the truth reported Ms. Du to the school officials. Ms. Du received warnings from the education department and the school. The county 610 Office officials threatened her, and officers from the domestic security division arrested and detained her. All this interfered with her teaching. In the fall of 2000, she was sent to the county detention center for 10 days. On October 20, 2004, her house was searched again. On November 16, Long Lihua, the head of the 610 Office, sent Ms. Du and four other practitioners to the “Tangshan Legal System School of Education,” where she endured brainwashing for two months. She was forced to watch videos that slandered Falun Gong. After she was released, she was confused. Another practitioner, Ms. Guo Huiqing, also a teacher at the Hanzhuan Middle School of Qianxi County, was taken to the “Tangshan Legal System School of Education” at about the same time as Ms. Du. Ms. Guo was persecuted and brainwashed until she became mentally disordered and is still not able to go back to teaching.
