Solemn Declaration
In June 2007, two female Falun Gong practitioners working in our unit were arrested and sentenced to forced labor. Most people, including myself, didn't understand the truth about Falun Gong. They misunderstood Falun Gong, thinking it was anti-CCP and anti-society and thus hated Falun Gong practitioners. I thought the same way. My mother is a Falun Gong practitioner. To protect my mother and my family, I often threatened her and monitored her activities. I burned some Dafa books and informational materials and cursed the founder of Falun Dafa, Master Li. After my aunt clarified the truth to me, I now understand that Falun Gong is a great law of the universe and that it is not wrong to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be a good person. I repent of what I did. I solemnly declare: “Everything I have ever said that was disrespectful to Master Li and Dafa is null and void. I will correct my mistakes. I believe that Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

Solemn Declaration
I am not a Falun Gong practitioner, but I know that Falun Gong teaches people to be kind and Master Li came to this human world to save people. I often tell my friends that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) brutally persecutes Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners. I told them not to believe the "Tiananmen Self-Immolation" hoax because it was staged by the CCP. I now realize that the CCP is more vicious than I thought. In the middle of September, representatives from 610 Office and the Education Bureau forced elementary students and their parents to sign a “pledge card” that defamed Falun Gong. I was very angry and decided not to sign it. I told my daughter that I would explain to the head teacher the next day why my daughter and I would not be signing the card. My daughter is only seven years old. She was afraid and started to cry, so I reluctantly signed my name and hers on the card. I solemnly declare today: “The derogatory pledge card I was pressured to sign is null and void. We support Falun Gong. Falun Dafa is good and Master Li is great.”
