(Minghui.org) Three practitioners passed away over the past year. Although they appeared to have died of illnesses, there is a story behind each of their deaths. The deaths created some misunderstandings among practitioners, and I would like to share my thoughts on the issue.
Some practitioners that have suffered severe interference from illness karma have eliminated the interference by sending righteous thoughts. There were times when a practitioner’s main spirit escaped the interference through studying the Fa with other practitioners, and he or she could thus step away from the tribulation. Sometimes however, sending righteous thoughts, studying the Fa, and listening to Teacher’s lectures isn't successful. The three practitioners I am going to talk about were of the last category.
Discovering the Cause of Death
The first practitioner died of acute cerebral hemorrhage. Before she passed away, many practitioners went to her place to send righteous thoughts for her. A practitioner with the celestial eye open saw that evil beings of the old forces were holding her back and she could not return to her physical body.
The second practitioner died of organ failure. Many practitioners sent righteous thoughts for her but it was unsuccessful. She believed in the Fa and wanted to listen to the lectures before she died, but she couldn't return to her body. When I learned about her death, I sent righteous thoughts trying to find her. The practitioner sent me a message asking me not to look for her anymore because she did not want to return to her physical body. That being the case, there was nothing I could do.
The third practitioner died of rectal cancer. The day after she passed away, her husband (also a practitioner) told me her situation. Before she died, the practitioner suddenly screamed for her husband to send righteous thoughts for her, saying that the old forces tricked her and were preventing her from returning to her body. The husband said that she might have signed a contract with the old forces and was deceived into leaving this world. Many practitioners wanted to get her back and went to her home to send righteous thoughts to bring her back. The third day I looked for her when I was doing the exercises in the morning. I found her and cleaned many things the old forces had put on her after she signed the contract. These things were holding onto her tightly with something like black ropes. I experienced great interference, and Master's fashen (law body) helped me clean a lot of the evil beings holding her. I still hoped for the best and called her husband asking about her. He told me he was on the way to a funeral home. I knew that it was over and nothing could be done.
Believing in the Fa during Sickness Karma
Why are there different endings for practitioners with illness karma? Different practitioners have different understandings of sickness karma. Teacher explained it very clearly. Hence, when we suffer from sickness karma, we need to be clear headed and use the Fa principles to step away from the tribulation. We should not treat it as an ordinary people’s illness—we should eliminate the karma. No matter how large the karma is, as long as we believe in the Fa, we shall pass the test. Teacher did not arrange for us to repay karma with our lives. We practice cultivation of mind and body. If we suffer long-term sickness karma, it is very possible that there is a great need for us to improve our xinxing somewhere. If there is not a problem with our xinxing, then most likely old forces are interfering with us. We can use our righteous thoughts to eliminate such interference. However, a lot of times the practitioners’ righteous belief wavered after suffering long-term sickness. This gave the evil a reason to persecute them. In this situation, sending righteous thoughts does not work well, nor does studying the Fa.
Gaining Control over One's Body
Whenever a practitioner is suffering from sickness karma, we must first think of sending righteous thoughts for him/her. It is very important to void the contract the practitioner signed with the old forces. There are several other things we can do. We can cleanse the evil elements that possess the practitioner’s body. This helps greatly for the practitioner to gain control over his body. Having the practitioner listen to and read the Fa can wake up the practitioner’s main spirit. Having a strong main spirit can prevent the practitioner from being interfered with. Also, we must believe in Teacher and the Fa no matter how the sick practitioner does in the situation and how other practitioners react. The mighty power of the Fa will manifest only when we have firm and righteous belief in the Fa.
The above-mentioned three practitioners did great in their Dafa work and their leaving us caused great losses in saving sentient beings. I would like to remind practitioners in similar situations that saving our practitioners is also saving sentient beings.
