(Clearwisdom.net) My granddaughter was the victim of a car accident at 2:00 p.m. on August 14, 2011, near a supermarket in Tumen City, Jilin Province.
While walking with her parents and grandfather, seven-year-old Qingqing left the adults and went to play near a truck on the other side of the street. Her mother called out and told her to be careful. But an accident happened, just as they were afraid it would. Qingqing suddenly ran back toward the adults. As soon as she streaked out from behind from the truck, a black car—unable to see Qingqing since the truck blocked her from view—came speeding up the street, crashed right into her, and threw her into the air.
Stunned, the driver of the car sat motionless. A middle-aged man
who looked like an official got out of the car and went to see
Qingqing, lying on the ground. Before he could say anything,
Qingqing’s mother hysterically dashed to her daughter's side and
screamed and begged everyone to take her to the hospital.
Her grandmother had been sitting inside their apartment nearby and
witnessed the entire accident. She came downstairs and said, “Even
though I’m the only Falun Gong practitioner in the household, my
family members should all benefit from Falun Gong. Qingqing will be
fine.” Very upset to hear that, Qingqing’s grandfather angrily
glanced at Grandmother as if to say, “It's none of your
business!”
Neither the X-ray nor the ultrasound showed any internal injuries,
but the doctors still wanted to keep Qingqing hospitalized for
further tests. Later on, Grandmother went to the hospital to see
Qingqing and softly told her, “It was Master who saved you.”
Qingqing replied, “I know it. I have recited silently ‘Falun Dada
is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Concerned
for their safety, Qingqing’s father did not want Grandma to say too
much. He kept the driver inside the room and then got Grandma out
into the hallway.
In the hallway Grandma met the official who was in the car when
the accident happened. Very uneasily, that man constantly mumbled,
“That kid just ran right out into the street. Why didn’t the adults
take better care of her?” He intended to shirk his responsibility
and blame Qingqing’s parents for being irresponsible. Grandma said,
“Your car is not registered; on top of that, the driver was
speeding. Sooner or later, you guys will get into a serious
accident and be put in jail. I’m a Falun Gong practitioner. Our
Master tells us to be compassionate. Because of that, we won’t ask
for monetary compensation from you. My granddaughter will be fine;
furthermore, I will not report you to the police. If I did, you
would have to go to court. Calm down. It’s over now. But please
remember, ‘Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness, Compassion and
Forbearance is good,’ and you will reap the benefits in the future.
Of course, you need to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party
because that will protect your future.”
After Grandma clarified the truth to the man, he appeared
relieved, and his gloomy face finally cleared up. Smiling he said,
“You’re right. I’m very fortunate to have met a Falun Gong
practitioner like you today, so why don’t I take this opportunity
to quit the CCP. Thank you very much, and please also forward my
gratitude to your great Master Li for me!”
A few minutes later Qingqing was discharged. Grandma smiled, “It’s because we had faith and didn’t ask them to pay us anything that our Qingqing is fine now. Thanks to my Master who saved my granddaughter today!”
