(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Chen Yuxian went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 1999. She was sentenced to house arrest for one year in January 2000. Her daughter was in elementary school at the time.

When Ms. Chen went out of her home in July 2000, she was immediately detained by the police. She went on a hunger strike for eight days before being allowed to return home, and was released from house arrest six months later. However, she was continually harassed by the local police.

Officers Lin Ruijin and Liu Wei came to Ms. Chen's home one day in September in 2000 and attempted to take away her Dafa materials. When she tried to stop them, Liu Wei slapped her face hard. Ms. Chen was detained again in November 2000, when she was seen talking to people about Falun Gong. She was released after being on a hunger strike for ten days.

Sentenced to a forced labor three times in five years

Ms. Chen Yuxian was arrested and taken to Fujian Women's Labor Camp in Taiyu, Fuzhou City in December 2000. The camp officials forced her mother to sign documentation admitting her daughter for labor re-education for one year. She was put in solitary confinement, monitored by inmates, and was forced to stand for long periods of time. After she was released, Ms. Chen declared that she did not acknowledge anything she wrote or said under pressure from torture.

In July 2002, Ms. Chen was arrested a second time, and was sent to a labor camp. She was deprived of sleep and forced to stand for long periods of time. Practitioners who refused to renounce their belief were put in solitary confinement, denied family visits and are not allowed to purchase food. Inmates are ordered to constantly monitor them and write reports on everything the practitioners did. Some of the rooms even had video monitors in them.

Ms. Chen was arrested again in September of 2006, while she was walking in Jiulong Park. The number on the police officers' uniforms were: 110, 300349 and 310087. She was sentenced to a forced labor camp for the third time, and was held in Fujian Women's Forced Labor Camp for two years.

Sent to a mental hospital and injected with unknown drugs

Two female guards named Chen Xiaodong (police no. 353360) and Chu Xinxin (police no. 3533054) force fed Ms. Chen and other practitioners. If practitioners tried to shouted anything, the guards would punish them by putting tape across their mouth and nose, tie them to a metal bed frame and have their working hours extended. Ms. Chen was sent to Fuzhou Mental Hospital for further persecution, and was forced to take pills and was injected with unknown drugs.

Continual arrests and harassment

Ms. Chen was reported to the authorities on November 26, 2009, when she was seen handing out materials about Falun Gong. She was arrested and interrogated by the Xiangcheng District Tongbei Police. Her home was ransacked and the police confiscated several hundred yuan in cash. She was then taken to Zhangzhou City Detention Center that night, and was held there for 28 days. When she was released, she had lost a lot of weight and was very weak.

The deputy head of Zhangzhou Domestic Security Division Lin Jun, and Xiangcheng District Police officers Zhu Jiaming and Liu Wei were involved in the persecution of Ms. Chen.

On March 20, 2010, Ms. Chen was arrested again while talking to people about Falun Gong. She was held in Zhangzhou Detention Center for 16 days, and her home was ransacked. Zhu Jiaming and Liu Wei also participated in this round of persecution.

Sentenced to a forced labor camp for the fourth time

Ms. Chen Yuxian and fellow practitioner Ms. Chen Linfen were arrested by officers from the Changtai County Domestic Security Division on May 15, 2011, when they went to Changtai County to hand out truth-clarification materials and ask people if they wanted to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party. They were transferred to Zhangzhou Detention Center the following day. Their families were not notified.

On the third day, Ms. Chen Yuxian's daughter went to the detention center to visit her mother and brought her clothes, but the guards did not allow her to take them. The same day, Liu Wei and officers from the Changtai Domestic Security Division ransacked both practitioners' homes and confiscated a number of Dafa materials and personal belongings.

Ms. Chen Yuxian was transferred to the Zhangpu County Detention Center on May 30, and Ms. Chen Linfeng was transferred to the Huaan County Detention Center. Their families were not allowed to visit them.

At the beginning of July 2011, Ms. Chen Yuxian and Ms. Chen Linfen were secretly taken to Fujian Women's Forced Labor Camp. This is the fourth time Ms. Chen Yuxian was sentenced to a forced labor camp. She was sentenced to two years and Ms. Chen Linfen was sentenced to one year. Their families were only informed after they had been taken to the camp.
