(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Mr. Li Zhiyong from Pingding County, Yangquan City, Shanxi Province was subjected to a second term of forced labor in 2008, and was brutally tortured. He was scheduled to be released in September 2009. However, under orders from the Pingding County 610 Office, he was transferred to the Pingding County Detention Center and was then secretly transferred to Jinzhong Prison. Mr. Li was not released until July 26, 2011.

Mr. Li was arrested on July 27, 2008 while telling people the facts about Falun Gong. Jucheng Town Party Secretary Wei Delin, local 610 Office heads Guo Zhenzhu and Du Yujun, and Jucheng Town Police Station deputy head Zhang Yong sent him to the Pingding County Detention Center and sentenced him to one year and three months in the Xindian Forced Labor Camp in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.

This was the second time that Mr. Li was sent to the Xindian Forced Labor Camp. In 2007, Mr. Li endured 12 months of forced labor, and was tortured by guards Yao Hong and Wang Weidong, as well as some of the inmates. In the first four months, Mr. Li was forbidden to sleep for more than an hour each day. In addition, he was forced to hand-clean the floors in the rest rooms and hallways using a dish cloth instead of a mop.

During his second term of forced labor (starting August 11, 2008), Mr. Li was forbidden to go to bed early. The guards sent inmates to monitor him all day, prohibited him from talking with others and forced him to do manual labor.

Mr. Li was scheduled to be released on September 25, 2009. However, 10 days before the release date, a Pingding County 610 Office agent surnamed Xu transferred him to the Pingding County Detention Center and secretly sentenced him to Jinzhong Prison.

On July 26, 2011, Mr. Li was again scheduled to be released. However, when his family went to pick him up, a Jucheng Town Police Station officer surnamed Yue, local political and judiciary committee secretary Yue Hui and Xiapanshi Township committee Li Yinke denied his release, and attempted to transfer him again. Under strong resistance from his family members, Mr. Li was eventually released that day.
