(Clearwisdom.net) “I saw this report about organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in Cologne. How horrific! Everybody should know about it," a middle-aged German gentleman said as he pointed to the book Bloody Harvest, a report written by two Canadian professionals after careful investigation. The gentleman had come to Berlin from Cologne to sightsee and saw the Falun Gong stand. He and his female companion quickly signed a petition protesting the persecution.

July 20, 2011, marked 12 years since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched a massive brutal persecution of Falun Gong. On Pariser Square in front of the famous Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, practitioners held an event to expose the persecution of Falun Gong. A candlelight vigil was held that evening in front of the Chinese Embassy to commemorate fellow practitioners who were tortured to death by the CCP and to call on people to help stop the CCP's atrocities.
So far 3,428 Falun Gong practitioners have been confirmed dead as a result of the CCP persecution. The actual number of deaths, which is hard to discern because of the CCP Internet blockade, could be much higher.
On July 20, many stopped in front of the Falun Gong stand to observe the exercise demonstration or talk with practitioners. Those who had heard about the persecution of Falun Gong before signed the petition protesting the persecution straightaway. Some heard about it for the first time. When they learned many practitioners were tortured to death and many others have died as a result of live organ harvesting, they were shocked.
A middle-aged lady who had just come from China to visit her son in Germany also came to the stand. She said that she had not come into contact with Falun Gong in China, hearing only the CCP’s side of the story. But she knew that the CCP was not to be trusted. Many of her family members had been persecuted by the CCP in the past and she said the CCP always twists the facts, confusing right and wrong. Seeing Falun Gong in Berlin, she was glad to learn the facts and took informational materials for further reading.
Practitioner Mr. Yip from Berlin said, "Since the persecution began, we have been holding activities in Berlin each year around the July 20. Initially we felt a lot of pressure. At the time the German media did not know what Falun Gong was. They copied the CCP media’s lying propaganda. Even some Germans were deceived. We also encountered German people with misunderstandings. But now many sign the petition and support us. We now hold an “Information Day” every two weeks. Every day we protest in front of the Chinese Embassy. Twice a week we do the exercises in downtown Berlin. More and more German media have reported positively on Falun Gong. More and more politicians are aware of the persecution of Falun Gong. We are confident that the persecution will come to an end in the near future."
That night Falun Gong practitioners also held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy in Berlin in memory of fellow practitioners in China who lost their lives in the persecution.
Background:
On July 20 12 years ago, out of personal jealousy, the then CCP head Jiang Zemin manipulated the entire CCP-controlled state apparatus and launched a systemic persecution of Falun Gong. Since then, tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance have suffered brutal persecution. Also from that day, Falun Gong practitioners began large-scale truth-clarification activities across the world in order to stop the persecution and awaken people's conscience.
