(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners in Wisconsin held a candlelight vigil in front of the State Capitol in downtown Madison on July 19, 2011, to commemorate practitioners who have lost their lives under the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution for having remaining steadfast in their belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

Many passersby stopped to view informational photo displays. After learning about how brutal the persecution is, local people expressed their support for Falun Gong practitioners' opposition to the persecution, and several people cried after learning how practitioners have been tortured.

A young woman said that people are entitled to the basic human right of belief, and for the CCP to deprive Falun Gong practitioners of such a right is unfair and unreasonable. A student said, “Falun Gong practitioners only pursue a healthy and happy life. Everyone should enjoy such a right. Such a thing happening in China (referring to torturing practitioners to death) is worse than despicable.”

Over the past 12 years, Falun Gong has been practiced by over 100 million people in 110 countries. Falun Gong practitioners throughout the world have been constantly speaking out about the truth of Falun Gong and exposing the CCP's crimes in a tireless effort to end the persecution.
