(Clearwisdom.net) Before the Moon Festival, I took some truth clarification materials with me when I went back to my hometown. They included a list of “bad people,” those who were involved in persecuting Falun Gong. Our former village Party branch secretary was on the list. At that time, I had a deep attachment in that I was afraid of offending people. I thought, “We live in the same village,” so I didn't take one to his home when I distributed the flyers.
Most of the Party members in my village had already quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, except for this person. Sometimes he would say things disrespectful of Dafa and, therefore, I didn't sincerely want to save him. However, the truth clarification flyer quickly reached him. The villagers were talking about who was on the list of bad people. He was irritated by this and asked the practitioners in the village who had put his name on the list. They told him that I had done it, so he came to my house.
He threatened my father, saying, “I will bring charges against your daughter.” He also threatened to remove our ancestors’ graves because the graveyard had been traded for his arable land over ten years ago. He disturbed the peace of my family. My father couldn't eat for a few days, and everyone in the family was very worried. My little brother and father are also practitioners, but because they didn't study the Fa diligently and couldn't think about this from the perspective of the Fa, they called me to ask me to take care of the problem. At that time, I didn't look inward either and thought I was right. I blamed them and said, “Where are your righteous thoughts? Why are you so easily moved by these kinds of things?”
Then I calmed down and looked inward, and I found so many shortcomings in myself. Then I heard Master's lecture “Stirred by Reflection” in my head and thought, “What am I doing here? Isn't it a good chance to clarify the truth?” I then remembered that Master said in “Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference” “The ones who are truly being persecuted are not Dafa disciples, but the world’s people.”
My heart was full of compassion. In the past, I hadn't even tried to clarify the truth to him. His knowing side was waiting for us to save him. I had to pay attention to Master and clarify the truth to the secretary and take this opportunity to save him. This was my responsibility.
So I went to his home and talked to him for more than an hour. During the conversation, I asked him if he knew why his name was on the list. He said he didn't know. I asked him, “Do you believe that good is rewarded with good and evil provokes retribution?” He nodded in agreement. I asked further if he thought he had done anything wrong when he organized others from the village government to ransack the Dafa practitioners' homes in our village. He nodded his head again. I then said, “There is nothing wrong with cultivating Falun Dafa. But you cooperated with the evil CCP in committing crimes against Dafa, which is unjust, so your name is on the list of “bad people.” If you can understand it now, you still have a chance to make a choice.” He said he didn't want to be a bad person and asked me to remove his name from the list. I said, “First you need to understand the truth about Falun Dafa and understand that Dafa saves people. Then you need to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, so you will have a bright future.” He nodded and said, “OK.” In the end, I left him the truth clarification CD and booklet.
At that moment, I realized that Master had helped me to resolve this situation. Only by giving up my human attachments can I catch up with the progress of Fa-rectification and successfully carry out my mission.
