1. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Junbo in Critical Condition

Mr. Liu Junbo was illegally arrested with the aid of fabricated evidence and held at the Xinbin County Detention Center. On May 9, 2011, he went on hunger strike and is currently very weak. After refusing to eat, he was force-fed twice by Xinbin County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, for which his family was charged 300 yuan. Mr. Liu could no longer take the forced-feedings and is currently in critical condition.

2. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Many Practitioners Arrested

Officers from Fuan Police Station broke into Mr. Zhang Hongliang's home on the morning of May 10, 2011. The police ransacked the place and confiscated a computer. They also arrested 11 practitioners who were there. Ms. Zhang Xiaoli, Ms. Zhang Shuying, and Ms. Zhu Yulan later escaped. The other eight practitioners were detained, including Mr. Zhang Hongliang, Ms. Shi Yuyan, Ms. Song Xinyu, Ms. Bian Fuhong, Ms. Bian Xiuhua, Ms. Zhang Yan, Ms. Yan Aihua, and Ms. Zhu Yalin.

3. [Shanghai] Mr. Li Guorong Sent to Sheshan Brainwashing Center in the Qingpu District on May 10

4. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Six Relatives of Ms. Deng Xiuyan Detained

Ms. Deng Xiuyan was taken away by officers from Yangguanlin Police Station in the Fengrun District on January 5, 2011. She has been held in Fengrun Detention Center. On the morning of May 20, her relatives went to Yangguanlin Police Station to ask that she be released. The police detained Mr. Liu Lijun, one of Ms. Deng's relatives. At noon, Ms. Deng's grandmother and three other relatives, including Ms. Zhang Weiyun, Ms. Zhang Baoxiang, and Ms. Ye Suping, went to the police station to bring Mr. Liu Lijun lunch. The police detained all four of them. That afternoon the police also detained another relative near the police station.

5. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Liu Zhansheng Frequently Harassed

Mr. Liu Zhansheng has been harassed by personnel from the Hangzhou Political and Judiciary Committee for a long time. Every day for two hours Mr. Liu is forced to watch propaganda videos. Authorities have even harassed Mr. Lu's family members and attempted to put Mr. Liu into a brainwashing facility. This harassment has severely interfered with Mr. Liu and his family's daily life and work.

6. [Chongqing] Ms. Lei Zhirong Arrested

Ms. Lei Zhirong, who lives in Shanshuilidu Community, Shimahe Sub-district, Jiangbei District, Chongqing, was arrested by officers from the 610 Office outside her home as she left for work on the morning of May 18, 2011. It was said that she was taken to Yubei Brainwashing Center.

7. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Guoqing and Ms. Liu Jingkun Detained for a Day

Ms. Li Guoqing and Ms. Liu Jingkun were reported for speaking with people about Falun Gong at Wangkelong Supermarket on May 17, 2011. They were taken away and their homes were ransacked that night. They were released at around 5:00 a.m. the next day.

8. [Gong County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Jintao Arrested

Mr. Zhang Jintao, chief engineer of Shanmushu Coal Mine, was arrested on May 14, 2011. The police ransacked his home the next day and confiscated all truth-clarification materials, his personal computer, and his work computer.

9. [Yilong County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tang Xujun Sentenced to Serve Term Outside Prison

Ms. Tang Xujun was sentenced to one year and six months of forced labor. She was then taken to Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong County, Sichuan Province. The camp authorities refused to admit her because she did not pass the physical. Her sentence has been changed to allow her to serve her sentence outside the prison. She returned home on the afternoon of May 19, 2011.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Tang Changjun Taken Away

Mr. Tang Changjun, 63, who lives in the Shuilu Community in the Wuchang District, was taken away on May 19, 2011. His current whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tian Suhua Taken to Xinjin Brainwashing Center

Ms. Tian Suhua, retired from Chengdu Construction Machinery Factory, was followed and taken away by two persons from the Niushikou Sub-district Office on April 21, 2011. She was later taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center.

13. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Ms. Ye Shunqing Taken to Brainwashing Facility

On the morning of May 18, 2011, Ms. Ye Shunqing, employed at the Huanan Factory, was taken away from her home by a group of officers led by Li Xiaofen, chief of Sanchalu Comprehensive Management Office. She was taken to a brainwashing facility in the Shenji Hotel.

14. [Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Chen Yuxian and Ms. Lin Fen Detained

Ms. Chen Yuxian and Ms. Lin Fen were reported to authorities while handing out DVDs about Falun Gong in Changtai County on the morning of May 15, 2011. They were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of Changtai Police Department and taken to Zhangzhou Detention Center the next day. On May 17, Ms. Chen's daughter went to the detention center. Her requests to bring clothes and to visit her mother fell on deaf ears. That same day, officers from the Domestic Security Division of Zhangzhou Police Department, the Domestic Security Division of Changtai Police Department, the local police station, sub-district offices, and the community committee ransacked the homes of Ms. Chen and Ms. Lin. They confiscated Dafa books and other personal belongings.

15. [Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Wang Yanhua's Home Ransacked

Personnel from Zhangzhou College of Vocation and Technology and officers from the Domestic Security Division of Zhangzhou Police Department ransacked Ms. Wang Yanhua's home on May 18, 2011. The police confiscated a computer, a printer, and Dafa books. They threatened Ms. Wang that they would take her to a forced labor camp and prohibit her son from going to college if she didn't write a guarantee statement within two weeks. Mr. Liu Chunfeng, Ms. Wang's husband, beat and swore at her when he learned about the ransacking.

16. [Zhijin County, Guizhou Province] Four Practitioners Sentenced

Four practitioners were sentenced to prison by the Zhijin County Court on April 26, 2011. Mr. Fan Fagui was sentenced to five years, and Ms. Wang Qin was sentenced to three and a half years. Mr. Cai Faming and Mr. Feng Qiming were both sentenced to two years. All four practitioners were arrested by officers from A'gong Police Station on November 1, 2010.

17. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Xiaojian to be Tried

Mr. Wang Xiaojian, in his 30s, is originally from Yunyang County, Chongqing. He operates a farm-raised animal business. On November 12, 2010, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials gave instructions to the census bureau staff conducting the 2010 survey to enter Mr. Wang's home illegally and look for Falun Gong materials. Mr. Wang's younger son, who is only six years old, inadvertently disclosed that there was a computer, a printer, and other things in the bedroom. Xiong Shuquan, Yang Xiao, Huang Chuansheng of the Xiling District Domestic Security Division, and officers from the Yaowan Police Station followed Mr. Wang Xiaojian to the home of another practitioner, Ms. Wang Wenping. The officers arrested the two practitioners on the grounds that they distributed Falun Gong materials. The police immediately searched Mr. Wang Xiaojian's home. They confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Gong books. The Xiling District Procuratorate is working on prosecuting his case. Mr. Wang Xiaojian will soon be tried.

18. [Chongqing] Additional Information about the Arrests of Ms. Nie Kunqiong and Ms. Su Zuming

Ms. Nie Kunqiong and Ms. Su Zuming from Baisha Town, Jiangjin, Chongqing, were detained at the Detention Center of the Jiangjin Police Department. The police asked them for the source of their truth-clarification materials and ordered them to write guarantee statements. They refused and were transferred to Langshan Detention Center on May 18, 2011.

19. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Changping Taken Away

Ms. Chen Changping, about 60, was taken away by officers from Gaosheng Street Police Station while taking her grandson to Shuncheng Street Daycare on the morning of May 20, 2011. Her grandson was also taken away. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

20. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Cai Yuechan and Ms. Cai Yuchang to be Tried in Longhu District Court on May 23

21. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Fan Xiaoqing Sent to Xingtai Brainwashing Center

A dozen officers from Lianzi Town Police Station in Longyao County broke into Ms. Fan Xiaoqing's home on the morning of May 20, 2011. When Ms. Fan's father-in-law argued with the officers, the officers injured his right hand. Ms. Fan was taken to the police station and later transferred to Xingtai Brainwashing Center in the afternoon.

22. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Shao Zhiqin and Ms. Guo Kunlan Transferred to Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp

Ms. Shao Zhiqin and Ms. Guo Kunlan were recently transferred from Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City to Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.

23. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Zhongcheng Harassed

Seven officers from Fushun Police Department broke into Mr. Zhang Zhongcheng's home in Laocheng Village, Yongling Town, on the afternoon of May 19, 2011. They confiscated his son's laptop computer and camera. They then ordered Mr. Zhang to send his son to Yongling Police Station for ten days.

26. [Beijing] Ms. Hu Xiuqing Detained

A group of officers from the Shunyi District Domestic Security Team, Shengli Police Station, and North Jianxin Community Committee broke into Ms. Hu Xiuqing's home on the evening of April 26, 2011. The police confiscated a computer, Dafa books, and other personal belongings. Ms. Hu was taken to Shunyi Detention Center.

Ms. Hu, 61, is retired from the No. 3 Construction Division of Shunyi Road Administration Bureau. She was subjected to brainwashing at Xin'an Women's Forced Labor Camp for several months in 2001. Before her recent arrest, personnel from the community committee told her to report her Internet activity, which she refused to do.

27. [Beijing] Additional Information about Mr. Liang's Arrest

Mr. Liang, 67, from the Shunyi District is an retired teacher from the Shunyi Scientific Committee. On the night of April 26, 2011, his downstairs neighbor deceived him into opening the door, and more than 20 officers from the Beijing Domestic Security Team, the Shunyi District Domestic Security Team, and the Renhe Police Station broke into his home and ransacked it. The police confiscated a computer, a printer, Dafa books, and other personal property. The police took Mr. Liang and his wife, Ms. Meng, to Nihe Detention Center in the Shunyi District the next morning. Ms. Meng was later released due to her health problems.

Ms. Wang Lixia from Dongyageying Village was arrested in her own shop on the morning of May 19, 2011. She was later taken to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center. Her husband, Mr. Zhao Lianbin, was also taken to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center on June 2, 2010, and was sentenced to three years in prison with a four-year reprieve at Lincheng County Court in January 2011.

Ms. Leng Xin and Ms. Leng Hua were arrested by officers from the Renzhao Town Police Station while speaking with people about Falun Gong in the Renzhao Market on May 13, 2011. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

30. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Deqian Held in Jidong Prison in Tangshan City

Mr. Wang Deqian, a folk artist from Laishui County, is still being held in Jidong Prison in Tangshan City, far from his home. His family traveled a long way to visit him on May 18, 2011. Mr. Wang is weak and needs support to walk. The head of the ward monitored him during his family's visit.

Mr. Wang Xinzhong and Mr. Liu Yongwang are also held in Jidong Prison.

34. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Additional Information about Ms. Wan Hongxia's Arrest

Ms. Wan Hongxia and another practitioner were stopped by a police patrol at the crossing of Xinkai Road and Jianguo Road on the evening of May 12, 2011. There were four officers in the patrol car and they called for several police cars. The officers took them to Xinkai Road Police Station. Ms. Wan was taken to Langfang Brainwashing Center by officers from the Guangyang Police Sub-Bureau the next day. The other practitioner was able to escape.
