On the night of May 23, 2011, Zhao Qiang, chief of the Domestic Security Team of the Chaoyang Police Department, Suo Jingdong, chief of the Liujiazi Police Station, along with other officers, illegally arrested Mr. Zhu Guotian, Mr. Zhu Ping, Ms. Shi Xiuqing, and Ms. Lu Guifen. Their homes were also ransacked. Mr. Zhu Guotian was released due to his poor physical condition. The other three practitioners were sent to the Beishan Detention Center in Xidayingzi.

2. [Tumen, Jilin Province] Teacher Mr. Wang Peizhong Arrested
Mr. Wang Peizhong is a teacher at the Tumen Sixth High School. While he was working on June 1, 2011, several police officers suddenly rushed in and took him into custody. He was then sent to the brainwashing center set up by the Tumen Politics and Law Committee.
3. [Yanji, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Guangzhi Persecuted in Jilin Prison
Mr. Li Guangshi, 44, is being detained in the sixth division of Jilin Prison. Instructor Jin Guanghao and guard Zhang Yongsheng ordered Sun Wei and other prisoners to put Mr. Li into a small cell on the morning of May 28, 2011. Zhao Mi and other guards tortured him by handcuffing him behind his back and shackling his ankles. Mr. Li went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

Officers from the Hongqijie Police Station in Changchun broke into the home of Ms. He Shenghao, 62, on the morning of May 30, 2011. Ms. He was taken away and is being detained in the Weizigou Detention Center of Changchun.
5. [Jinzhou, Liaoning Province] Nanshan Prison Refused to Allow Ms. Guo Fengzhan's Family to Visit Her
The Lingyuan Court of Liaoning Province sentenced Ms. Guo Fengzhan to three and a half years in prison. She was sent to the Second Division of Nanshan Prison, in Jinzhou. The prison refused to allow family visits.

6. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Many Falun Gong Practitioners from Kangping County Arrested
Ms. Xing Xiuxia, from Kangping County, was arrested by officers from the Zhenbei Police Station in Kangping on the night of June 1, 2011. She has been sent to the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center in Shenyang.
Officers from the Zhenbei Police Station ransacked the home of Ms. Wu Yuge. They took away many consumable materials for printing and several printers. Ms. Wu managed to walk away safely.
Officers from the Shenyang Police Department and the Xiaochengzi Police Station, as well as Liu Lantian from the Joint Defense Team, went to Fuju Village in Xiaochengzi Town and ransacked the homes of Mr. Jiang Yujiang and Mr. Liu Qiang. The police took two copies of the book Zhuan Falun, one copy of Hong Yin, Minghui Weekly, Falun Gong banners, and other Falun Gong materials from Mr. Jiang's home. They also took Falun books from Mr. Liu's home.
Mr. Jiang's wife, Ms. Liu Wenyan, and Mr. Liu's wife, Ms. Zhen Xiufen, were both taken to the Xiaochengzi Police Station. Ms. Liu Wenyan was released the next day but her husband was arrested.
Officers from the Kangping Developing District Police Station arrested Mr. Jing Yongan, his wife Ms. Li Xiuhua, and their two daughters. The family was taken to the police station. The police also took two computers and one printer from their home.

11. [Xingyang, Henan Province] Ms. Yao Shaoyun’s Husband Arrested and Their Home Ransacked
On the afternoon of June 1, 2011, officers from the Xingyang Police Department and the Minquan Police Station in Shihe District, led by Li Weijiang, deputy chief of the Security Section of the Xingyang Professional Technology Institute, went to ransack Ms. Yao Shaoyun’s home. The police took away a bank book listing about 60,000 yuan in savings, tens of thousands of yuan in cash, a computer, Dafa books, etc. Ms. Yao’s husband is a teacher in the Foreign Language Department at the institute. He was arrested while lecturing in class.

Ms. Chen Yulian, in her fifties, was arrested while distributing Shen Yun DVDs near the Ximazhuang Farmers Market on the morning of May 29, 2011. She is being detained in the Erqibeilu Detention Center in Nanchang.

The Hongshan District Court illegally tried Mr. Zhang Jingzhou, Mr. Liu Shehong, Mr. Ouyang Haiwen, and Mr. Peng Liang on the morning of May 31, 2011. Ms. Chu Lanying, after hearing the news that morning, rushed to the court. She was blocked and arrested by plainclothes police before she arrived at the court. Ms. Chu is being detained in the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Yang Huizhen is an employee of Hubei University in Wuhan. She was arrested by plainclothes police on the way to the Hongshan District Court on May 31, 2011, and was sent to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center.
24. [Suining, Sichuan Province] Additional Information about Ms. He Jichun and Mr. Chen Xiangming's Recent Arrest
Mr. Chen Xiangming, 61, lives in Yutai Township, Shehong County. The Yutai government confiscated his tricycle because he had talked to people about Falun Gong. The government deceived him into trying to retrieve his tricycle on May 17, 2011, and he was arrested by police and sent to the Chengbei Brainwashing Center in Suining that day.
Ms. He Jichun, 66, was followed by plainclothes police at 11:00 a.m. on May 17, 2011. She was taken into custody at the Xiqu Market and sent to the Chengbei Brainwashing Center that day.

26. [Taihe County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Yang Shuixiang Arrested
Ms. Yang Shuxiang, 35, teaches history at Shangyi High School in Taihe. She was arrested by the local police on May 27, 2011.
Ms. Yang was sent to a forced labor camp in 2001 for a three-year term. She became mentally unstable as a result of the persecution. She gradually recovered after being released.
27. [Lincheng County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Lixia Taken to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Lixia, from Lincheng County, was taken to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center from her home by Li Qingshan, chief of the local 610 Office, in mid-May 2011.
28. [Gansu Province] Ms. Liang Jingyuan Sentenced
Ms. Liang Jingyuan is around 70 years old and worked at the 803 Electric Factory in the Gansu mine area. In early 2011, she was persecuted by the Politics and Law Committee, the police department, and the court in Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province. She was sentenced to a three-year prison term and sent to the Lanzhou Women’s Prison.
29. [Gansu Province] Ms. He Xuehua Fell from the Fourth Floor and Died
Ms. He Xuehua, 40, was sent to the Lanzhou Women’s Prison on July 12, 2003. Three male guards went to the prison division three or four days later. They carried electric batons and threatened the prisoners. Ms. He Xuehua then fell from the fourth floor of the Sewing Workshop in the second division and died.
