(Clearwisdom.net) On July 27, 2010, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Huiying, who is 63 years old and a doctor, was illegally arrested. She remains imprisoned in the above-mentioned detention center.

Ms. Zhang started practicing Falun Gong prior to 1999. On the morning of July 27, 2010, She was arrested while she was distributing informational materials about Falun Gong at the Chongwenmen Subway Station in Beijing. Because Ms. Zhang didn’t return home that night, her husband went to the police the next day and reported her missing. By then, he knew that his wife had been detained. Soon after, their home was ransacked. After Ms. Zhang’s husband found out that his wife was detained in the Daxing Detention Center in Beijing, he went there and brought her some clothes. However, a guard didn’t allow him to see his wife. When he gave the guard 1,000 yuan, he was only allowed to leave his wife’s clothes. A few days later, he went to the detention center again. The same guard told him that Ms. Zhang had been transferred elsewhere. When he asked the guard where his wife was taken, the guard replied that he didn’t know.

Ms. Zhang’s child lives outside of China and her other family members live far away from Beijing. Thus, her husband drove to Beijing alone and looked for his wife. He searched in every prison and detention center in Beijing, and finally found out that his wife was being incarcerated in the detention center located at No. 645 Dougezhuang Village, Qiliqu Township, Changping District, Beijing. But the guard there didn’t allow him to see her.

Since July 2010, Ms. Zhang’s husband has neither seen his wife nor does he know anything about her situation. He once became so anxious that he had to be hospitalized.
