(Clearwisdom.net) Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents in the city of Bayan Nur, Inner Mongolia, started another around of mass arrests of Falun Gong practitioners at the end of February 2011. At least three practitioners are still illegally detained: Ms. Zhuang Yanli is serving a two-year forced labor term at Hohhot Women’s Forced Labor Camp; Ms. Geng Ruizhi and Mr. Wang Guoliang are incarcerated at Linhe District Dentention Center.
Led by deputy heads Guo Baoying, He Xiaolin and Zhang, more than a dozen agents from Linhe District Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Zhuang Yanli’s home around 7:00 p.m. on February 24, 2011. They ransacked her home and arrested her non-practitioner husband, who was forced to reveal her whereabouts. Around 9:00 p.m. that night, the agents went to her mother’s home and forcibly took her into custody.
A group of police took Ms. Geng Ruizhi from her home at around 6:00 p.m. on February 25, 2011. They also confiscated a lot of truth-clarification materials. Her non-practitioner daughter was just returning from work at the time, but was also arrested when she tried to stop the police.
Ms. Wang Xia was arrested on March 15, 2011 for a third time. The police ransacked her home before taking her into custody. Policeman He Cai beat her during the process. While interrogating her at Linhe Police Department, policeman Niu Xinkuan stomped on her face. He beat her again when taking her to Hanggin Rear Banner Detention Center. She was eventually transferred to Linhe District Detention Center.
In 2001, Wang Xia was illegally sentenced to seven years. While detained at Inner Mongolia First Women’s Prison, the guards brutally assaulted her, both physically and sexually. She was also shocked with electric batons, had sharp pins pushed into her nails and her fingers burnt with a lighter. Wang Xia went on a hunger strike to protest and was sent to a mental hospital as punishment. She lost her memory as a result.
During the time Wang Xia was being held at Linhe District Detention Center, she went on a hunger strike for 15 days and lost more than 30 pounds. Her life threatening vital signs eventually prompted the detention center to release her on bail and make her await trial at home.
The main perpetrators of Wang Xia and Zhuang Yanli include: Yu Zhanhai, He Xiaolin, Guo Baoying, Niu Xinkuan, and a man surnamed Chi, all of whom are agents from Linhe District Domestic Security Division.
Ms. Zhuang Yanli and Ms. Geng Ruizhi were subjected to intensive interrogation for six and seven nights respectively, during which their arms and legs were shackled to a specially-made iron chair. As a result, they were not able to sleep normally. Policeman He Cai repeatedly beat Geng Ruizhi, causing severe deformation of her wrists. Wang Guoliang was tortured and interrogated in a similar manner.
