Canada: North Saanich, BC - Proclamation for Falun Dafa Month--May 2011

(Clearwisdom.net) A proclamation from the North Saanich British Columbia city council was received by the Falun Dafa Association of BC acknowledging “Falun Dafa Month, May 2011, Honoring Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” as we celebrate the 19th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public. The Association appreciates the council kind words and support.

HONORING TRUTHFULNESS, COMPASSION & FORBEARANCE

MAY 2011

WHEREAS Falun Dafa is an advanced exercise and meditation practice of mind, body, and spirit that has brought health and well-being to people across Canada; and

WHEREAS Falun Dafa practitioners practice the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and incorporate it into their daily lives, striving to become better people in all environments and situations; and

WHEREAS Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa is to be commended and publicly recognized for his commitment to promoting better health and moral loving throughout the world; and

NOW I, Alice Finall, Mayor of the District of North Saanich, do proclaim the month of May 2011 to be “Falun Dafa Month” Honoring Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” in the District of North Saanich.
