When Luo Hong’s family visited her at Changsha Women’s Prison on March 16, 2011, guard Mao Huiping in Division 6 forbade her husband to see her. She wore thin layers of clothing, but her family was forbidden to even send underwear. Her son said she had high blood pressure and was suffering from frequent dizzy spells. Ms. Luo is pale and emaciated and looks much older than before.

Ms. Shao Yaxu, a senior engineer at the Jiatai Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, in Shenzhen City was arrested at work on December 21, 2010. Her home was ransacked. She has been held at the Shenzhen City Legal School (brainwashing center) since then.

Forty-five-year-old Zhao Zigang from Jinquangou Village, Puwang Town, Yinan County was illegally arrested. Ju County 610 Office agents participated in the March 23, 2011 arrest. It happened while Mr. Zhao was selling apples in the market and handed out Falun Gong materials. His current whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Pengze County, Jiangxi Province] Additional Information Regarding the Arrest of Five Practitioners
Ms. Zhang Yuzhen, Ms. Ouyang Xuhua, Ms. Xu Zhongxia, Ms. Wu Shaoyin, Ms. Ouyang Yinfeng, Liu, and Zhu were arrested in Dongsheng Town the evening of March 22, 2011. Liu and Zhu have returned home; the five others are held in the county detention center.

9. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Yuman Arrested
Zhang Yuman was arrested by police on January 28, 2011 when talking to people about Falun Gong. She was released after 20 hours in the Wanglongmen Police Station. Officers from the Yuzhong District Domestic Security Division ransacked her home and took three MP3 players and Falun Gong articles.
10. [Haicheng, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yang Yunjia Sent to a Labor Camp
Haicheng police arrested 49-year-old Mr. Yang Yunjia on March 7, 2011. He was sent to the Masanjia Labor Camp on March 23, 2011, to be held for one year.
11. [Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Erli Disappeared
Seventy-year-old Mr. Liu Erli, a retiree from the Lengshuijiang Steel Factory, disappeared in Xinhua County on March 26, 2011 and hasn’t been heard from since.
Mr. Liu was arrested seven times and sent to labor camp(s) three times. One labor camp refused once to accept him as he did not pass the physical exam.

Ms. Tian Yuehua from Qianmazhuang Village, Diaohetou Township, the Anci District, Langfang City was arrested the morning of March 25, 2011, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong while waiting for a bus in Chouzhuang Township. She was taken to the Chouzhuang Township Police Station, later transferred to the Diaohetou Township government, and eventually sent to the Langfang Brainwashing Center that same day.

13. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Gentang’s Home Ransacked
About eight officers from the Fangcun Police Station in Shijiazhuang City broke into Mr. Wang Gentang’s home on March 25, 2011. They confiscated one computer, two printers, four paper cutters, one 250 G hard drive, three U drives, and more than 5,000 yuan cash.
They took Wang Gentang to Fangcun Police Station and later to the Yuhua District Police Department before releasing him in the afternoon.
14. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Police Capture Mr. Li Hongzhou and Ms. Yang
Mr. Li Hongzhou advised his colleagues to withdraw from the communist party and its affiliated organizations on March 25. The next day at 9 a.m., a group of officers from Fuqiang Police Station in Futian District, Shenzhen City, confiscated Dafa materials from his home and made Mr. Li and his wife Ms. Yang Qinghua go with them. The pregnant Ms. Yang was later released, but Mr. Li was still held at the police station; it is not known if he is there now.

17. [Luquan City, Hebei Province] Persecution of Mr. Li Junsheng
A group of officers from Yian Town, Luquan City broke into Li Junsheng’s home in Xibaozhuang Village the morning of March 25. They confiscated computers, printers, cash and other personal belongings. The persecutors took Li Junsheng to Luquan City Chinese Medicine Hospital for a physical exam. He was diagnosed with serious health problems. He was released, but his family was extorted more than 1,000 yuan cash.

Ms. Zhao Qiumin was taken to the Xuanwu Street Police Station on March 16 when distributing Shen Yun DVDs. Her home was later ransacked, and her family was extorted 10,000 yuan, even though the police did not find anything Falun Gong-related. She was released later that afternoon.

Ms. Song Guilan and Ms. Song Guixiang who were arrested by Jiaozhou City 610 Office agents on March 23 were later sent to Dashan Prison in Qingdao City.

20. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Dan and Mr. Nie Yong Arrested
Officers from the Nanshan Police Department in Shenzhen City arrested Ms. Li Dan and Mr. Nie Yong the morning of March 26, 2010 and ransacked their homes. They have been taken to Nanshan Detention Center in Shenzhen City.
21. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Lu Jinyou Faces Illegal Trial
Mr. Lu Jinyou was arrested by Yang Yugang and others from Zhuozhou City Domestic Security Division on August 5, 2010 and taken to Zhuozhou City Detention Center. He has been held there for more than seven months. An illegal trial was held, and a second trial was to be held at 9:30 a.m. on March 29, 2011.

Officers from the Dawang Town Police Department in Guangrao County and officers from Shouguang Domestic Security Division placed themselves outside Du Jianxin’s rented home on January 5, 2011. At dusk they climbed over the wall and arrested Mr. Du. They took him to the Shouguang City Detention Center where he is currently held and faces possible illegal trial.

Ms. Liu Lizhen was reported when handing out Falun Gong materials at the Nanhua University campus on March 20. She was arrested and taken to the Baishazhou Custody Center where she was held for 15 days.

Forty-four--year-old Ms. He Ying, 46-year-old Ms. Yao Hongmei, and 47-year-old Ms. Yao Lingjuan from Fenxi County were arrested in Fushan County when talking to people about Falun Gong on March 19. They are now in the Xiangfen County Detention Center.
27. [Tieling, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Sumei Tortured
Inmates at Division 8 of the Liaoning Women’s Prison brutally torture practitioners. Group head Dai Jing taped practitioner Wang Sumei’s mouth shut sometime after March 21, tied her with ropes and ordered inmates to shout communist party propaganda into her ears for 18 hours a day. Inmate Wang and others savagely beat Wang Sumei on March 23.
28. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Persecution at the Hands of Harbin City District 6 Police Department Agents
Officials from the Harbin Division 6 Police Department tapped practitioners’ phones and followed and tracked practitioners with electronic equipment before arresting them. They arrested Mr. Li Yueping at 10 p.m. on March 7; broke into Ms. Yi Yumei’s home at 12:30 a.m. and ransacked it and videotaped it. They confiscated computers, DVD burners, printers, a stereo system, and DVD players, among other personal belongings. The persecutors also arrested Mr. Hao Zhendong and his wife who were visiting. They tried to take Yi Yumei away, but her family fought and got her back.
