Solemn Declaration
On July 20, 1999, I was arrested when I was doing the exercises with other fellow practitioners in public in Beijing. I was taken to a local police station and later transferred to my school. The principal and our teachers took turns to repeat the CCP propaganda. They threatened that if I did not write a guarantee statement, I would be dismissed from the school and taken to the “Great Northern Wilderness.” They said that there were many students who were arrested in 1989 for the student movement who are still there at present. If I did not write a guarantee statement, I would end up in the same situation. Because I was scared, I wrote the statement against my will. Later, I wrote a statement again and even wrote something disrespectful of Dafa on a test. Forced by officers from my school, I went to the education bureau to read the statement aloud. Because of my fear and attachment about my future, I did a series of things against Dafa. My solemn declaration is all that I have said, have written as “guarantee and understanding” with my signature and my fingerprint are now void. I will try to make up the loss to Dafa, completely deny the arrangement of the old forces and do the three things well.

I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. I was slack in studying the Fa and doing the exercises, and had human attachments in doing things. Gradually, the loophole became bigger and the evil took advantage of it. I followed the path that the old forces arranged without a clear mind and wrote the “four statements” in prison. Now, I have enlightened to study the Fa continuously, to take the Fa as Teacher, to always remember myself as a Dafa disciple, to think of Master and to seriously do the three things well. I will respect Master and the Fa, believe in Master and the Fa, closely follow the process of Fa rectification, then I can repay Master's mercy of salvation. My solemn declaration is that during the period of my stay in the prison, the “four statements” that I wrote under pressure and everything that I did or said that were not according to the Fa are all void. From now on, I will study the Fa seriously, cultivate Dafa until the end, do the three things according to the requirement of Master rationally with a clear mind and walk the last stage of the path well.
