(Clearwisdom.net) I began to cultivate Falun Dafa in 2004. At the beginning of my cultivation, practitioner A helped me a lot, providing me with Dafa books and lecture audio tapes, etc. She also helped me a lot in my cultivation, including sharing experiences of breaking through various tribulations. Now I know that all of this was arranged Master. Of course, she and I may have a deep predestined relationship from past lifetimes. I was very thankful to her.

Looking back, I realized that I had gradually developed an attachment towards her, that is, relying on her too much. Especially after the local truth-clarification production site was damaged, I felt there were some barriers between me and her. In the past, I always thought that she was too cautious and fearful. Plus, some conflicts at our workplace made us unable to work well with each other. It was not until now that I realized that the reason all these things happened was because I needed to let go of my reliance on her.

As I looked inward, I found I was very selfish. I knew a long time ago that practitioner A had a strong attachment of fear. However, I did not help her the same way she helped me several years ago. Although I had mentioned to her that she had an attachment of fear, I did not take it seriously, thinking, “I have told you about this and now it is your responsibility to improve.” I even somehow looked down upon her, thinking, “Why is she still like this after so many years of practice?” When looking back, I realized I should have been responsible and done better. In “Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference,” Master said,

“The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things.”

I observed practitioner A living in fear for two years. Recently, when talking with practitioner B, she reminded me to help practitioner A. Practitioner B told me her understanding on the recent situation and her plan on what could be done. After the local truth-clarification material production site was damaged, practitioner B—who lived 50 kilometers away—started providing us with Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. She said that nothing was accidental, and that many things which happened on her cultivation path made her realize that local practitioners need to support each other. By then, I came to understand that I really needed to help practitioner A.

After I had that thought, one day practitioner A talked with me. She said she had a strong attachment of fear in the past. Now the attachment had weakened, but it still existed. She tried to eliminate it, but it seemed difficult. From the discussion with her, I realized the importance of one's righteous thoughts. From Fa-study, we know that this attachment of fear is not part of our true selves. When one becomes clear on this, it will be easier to completely eliminate the attachment. I immediately shared my understanding with practitioner A, and hoped she could break through the interference soon.

Not long after that, practitioner A came to me. She said she felt much better. I was also happy for her progress. We had broken through the barrier between us. I know that I will do better in the future.
