(Clearwisdom.net) I had dinner with eight of my classmates over the past couple of days. We chatted about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and agreed that it was corrupt and debased. One classmate, a military officer, said, "I've already distanced myself from the CCP, but they still consider me a member." Another of my classmates agreed and said, "I'm also against the CCP." My classmate’s wife, a doctor, said, "I just returned from Taiwan and wish to tell you what I have seen. There are many Falun Gong practitioners at Taiwan’s tourist attractions. They told us that Falun Gong is suffering an unprecedented persecution and asked us to withdraw from the CCP, the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers. But, I was too frightened and did not withdraw. We saw the practitioners are practically every major tourist attraction.”
I was deeply moved and told her, "Do you know how much of their own time practitioners use to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to you and how much money they spend out of their own pockets for the truth-clarifying materials they distribute at the tourist sites, so that they can persuade you to withdraw from the CCP and its associated entities? They want you to know the facts about Falun Gong because they live in free society. They wish for you to be able to understand what is good and what is evil. They are trying to save you! They are not political, but only wish to save you. Nowadays, there are so many natural and man-made calamities that are due to the CCP's acting against heaven's will. Especially because it persecutes Falun Gong! The heavens are eliminating the evil CCP. If you quit the CCP, you will have a bright future!" She then understood and withdrew from the CCP and its affiliates immediately. She was saved!
Last year, one of my neighbours visited Hong Kong and was very excited. She told me, "You used to clarify the truth about Falun Gong! When I arrived in Hong Kong, I saw so many practitioners. It is fantastic! A huge TV in a park exposed the truth about the Tiananmen Square Immolation incident."
I am happy that sentient beings are saved after they learn the truth.
Furthermore, practitioners are making phone calls from overseas to clarify the truth. Each phone call eliminates the evil and plays an important role in saving sentient beings. Even though there are still people who do not agree to withdraw their membership in the CCP and its affiliates when they receive the call, the phone call is still very helpful for us when practitioners in China clarify the truth.
One day I happened to run into an old friend. I talked to her about Falun Gong and the persecution, and talked to her about withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliates. She told me that she received a phone call from overseas, but she didn't withdraw at the time. She said that since I, her old friend, asked her to quit the CCP and its affiliates, she was ready to quit.
The phone calls from overseas play a very important role in eliminating the evil factors in a person's environment and help practitioners who are suffering persecution and torture. Several years ago, I was detained in jail. A practitioner called just as a policeman was torturing me in an effort to extract a confession. He was so shaken up by the call that he no longer knew what to say, and stopped the interrogation. With the help of practitioners overseas, I negated the persecution and returned home several days later.
The above are just a few of my experiences. Actually, with the help of overseas practitioners, the pressure on Mainland practitioners has lessened. With this help, many sentient beings are saved.
