Cherish Our Predestined Relationships with Fellow Practitioners
(Clearwisdom.net) A few days ago I had a conflict with a fellow practitioner over a few words. It felt awkward and like other practitioners were looking at me in a wrong way. So I decided to study the Fa with a calm mind.
Master clearly told us in “What is a Dafa Disciple:”
“When you meet with a conflict, it doesn’t matter whether you are in the right. You should be asking yourself, 'What on my part isn’t right in this situation? Might it really be that there is something wrong on my part?' You should all be thinking this way, with your first thought being to scrutinize yourself to try to find the problem. Whoever is not like this is not in fact a true cultivator of Dafa.”
After studying the Fa I realized that my heart was not aligned with the Fa. I was taken advantage by the old forces. With this thought, I sat in the lotus position and started to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all evil beings and evil factors that separated me from fellow practitioners and to eliminate all evil dark minions, rotten demons, and the Communist evil specter that separated me from fellow practitioners. After 15 minutes, I got up and went to cook a meal. Just after I got out the stew pot, I suddenly started to sob, and I couldn't stop. I went to tell my husband, who is also a practitioner: “I found it. I found my attachment of not cherishing the predestined relationships among practitioners and of my attachment of ego!”
I knew that, by sending forth righteous thoughts, I had eliminated the evil beings and factors that had separated me from fellow practitioners. Once the rotten materials were removed from my body I felt very light. The enlightened side of me recalled the mutual caring and support among practitioners over countless lifetimes. In hunger, in danger, and in life and death, we fought for each other, even losing our lives. We waited for Dafa and looked for Master in extremely difficult lifelong journeys and mazes. Now that Dafa has been spread and Master is with us every day, we don't know to cherish it. We even ignorantly create conflicts among ourselves.
We need to ask ourselves: Why don't we treat our fellow practitioners, with whom we have shared life and death, with compassion? How do we dare face our great, compassionate Master who has done so much for us and has given so much to us? No, there is no excuse for this. Thinking this, I felt very apologetic toward my fellow practitioners and to Master! I hope practitioners who are like me can look inward more for our own shortcomings and forgive others' mistakes. Let us walk on the path to godhood arranged by Master, heart to heart and arm in arm.
Through this incident, I realized that we should look at everything from the Fa-rectification cultivation point of view to completely negate all the arrangements of the old forces. Not acknowledging the negative behaviors of fellow practitioners, looking inward, and being compassionate towards practitioners is how we should and can completely negate the old forces. No one and no thing we encounter is accidental. We should cherish everything has Master arranged for us. Cherishing this cultivation environment is cherishing ourselves and cherishing the great compassion of Master!
