Solemn Declaration
I began Dafa cultivation in 1997. I was not diligent at “Fa” study and I harbored too many attachments to my family and emotions, so I was taken advantage of by the old forces. I was arrested and sent to a brainwashing center on the morning of July 19, 2011. In the detention center, I was tortured both mentally and physically. Various mental tactics were used such as deception and threats, and I was physically abused and denied freedom. To gain my release, my children were coerced into writing “guarantee statements,” stating that I would stop practicing Falun Gong and stop participating in Falun Gong activities. I put an “x” sticker on my thumb and used it instead of my fingerprint to sign the guarantee statement. After I was released, I realized what I did was wrong. I had aligned my behavior with the evil. Cultivation is serious and does not allow falsehood. From now on, I will firmly study the “Fa” more and guide my actions and words to align with the “Fa.” I'll follow Master's “Fa” rectification process and do the three things well. I'll walk my cultivation path to the end and go home with Master. I solemnly declare: “All statements my children wrote that do not comply with the “Fa” standards are null and void.”

Solemn Declaration
I was taken advantage of by the evil through my loopholes and persecuted by the CCP because I failed to follow Dafa standards. On July 26, 2011, the police ransacked my home and took all Dafa books and 9,900 yuan cash. I was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center. Because I lacked righteous thoughts and had many attachments, human notions, and fear, I wrongly copied a “stop practicing Falun Gong statement”, “repentance statement” and “statement of understanding”. I deeply regret the unpardonable sin that I committed. I let down Master and Dafa. I solemnly declare: “Everything I did in the brainwashing center is null and void. From now on, I will steadfastly cultivate Falun Dafa, do three things well and follow Master home.”
