Additional Persecution News from China – October 28, 2011 (22 Reports)

(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in nine provinces. In this report, seven Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Chongqing] Ms. Xu Lanzhen Persecuted in Shabao Women's Forced Labor Camp of Chongqing

Ms. Xu Lanzhen from Hechuan District, Chongqing was taken to the Shabao Women's Forced Labor Camp of Chongqing on the afternoon of September 30, 2011. On that evening, eight guards violently beat her. She passed out. Guards then poured cold water on her, woke her up, and continued the beating until she passed out again. She was lifted to a car and rushed to a hospital the next morning. She was brought back to the forced labor camp after emergency treatment, and her persecution continued. They did not allow her to use the toilet.

Mr. Xiong Weiming, arrested on April 22, 2011, was transferred to the Second Detention Center of Wuhan City on October 24, 2011.

3. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhu Bingjuan and Ms. Wang Zhelan Arrested

Ms. Zhu Bingjuan and Ms. Wang Zhelan from Linjiang City were arrested by local officers on the afternoon of October 21, 2011. They are now being held in the Linjiang Detention Center.

4. [Gaobeidian City, Hebei Province] Mr. Hu Zhenchun and Other Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Gaobeidian City Police Department, Domestic Security Division and 610 Office arrested Mr. Hu Zhenchun from Yangmansa Village, Beicheng Banshichu, Gaobeidian.

Ms. Wang Huanling was arrested at home and taken to the Gaobeidian City Detention Center the same evening. Her home was ransacked. Mr. Wang Tieqiang, owner of the Huixianju Restaurant, and Mr. Wang Yinpo from Gongxinzhuang Village were harassed the same day.

5. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Hairong Persecuted Again

Ms. Wang Hairong from Dongli, Tianjin was arrested for raising awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong and taken to the Fengnian Village Police Station on the morning of October 19, 2011. Officers took the key from her purse and used it to open her house. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and materials, and two MP3 players. Ms. Wang was released the same evening after her husband and her young sister signed a guarantee statement.

Ms. Weng Chunling from Chengzi Village, Yanjiao Town, Sanhe City was taken to the Langfang Brainwashing Center on the afternoon of October 26, 2011.

7. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Lanxiang Recently Arrested by Officers from the Domestic Security Division; Her Whereabouts Unknown

8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Yang Taken to the Weifang Brainwashing Center Around October 20, 2011

9. [Zhuolu County, Hebei Province] Ms. Ren Fengxian Arrested

Agents from the Zhuolu County 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division barged into Ms. Ren Fengxian's home at Shangshahe Village, Dabao Town on the morning of October 18, 2011 and took her to the Zhangjiakou Brainwashing Center.

10. [Anping County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Zhanli from Mazhuang Village, Madian Township Arrested on October 25, 2011

11. [Chuzhou City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Jinmei Arrested

Ms. Li Jinmei was arrested by three plainclothes officers at her own convenience store on the afternoon of October 26, 2011. Her whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Jizhu Arrested

Ms. Wang Jizhu is in her thirties. She was arrested at home on October 10, 2011 by over ten agents from the Domestic Security Division of the Qiaodong Police Department of Xingtai City and Xidajie Office who climbed up the wall and jumped into Ms. Wang's home.

13. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Meng Xianhong Arrested Recently

Ms. Meng Xianhong is in her forties and teaches at the Hebei Province Industrial University. She was recently arrested

14. [Jiaonan, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Guo Jiaqin from Jiaonan, Qingdao was arrested on October 18, 2011 and sent to the Jinan Brainwashing Center the next day.

Ms. Qiao Junying from Shanqian Village, Zhangjialou Town, Jiaonan was arrested at home on the morning of October 19, 2011.

Ms. Xue Qingxiang from Jiaonan Downtown was arrested at the Jiajiayue Supermarket for informing others about the persecution of Falun Gong on the afternoon of October 27, 2011.

15. [Inner Mongolia] Mr. Wu Guohui Secretly Sentenced

The Baarin Left Banner Court of Inner Mongolia sentenced Mr. Wu Guohui, a teacher at the Left Banner Primary School, to three and a half years in prison on October 25, 2011.

16. [Zhangbei County, Hebei Province] Mr. Hou Shulin Arrested

Mr. Hou Shulin from the Youlougou Primary School, Zhangbei County was arrested at his work place on October 25, 2011 and sent to the Zhangjiakou Brainwashing Center.

17. [Yinan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Qi Yichun Arrested

Mr. Qi Yichun is about sixty years old and lives at Shashantou Village, Mamuchi Township, Yinan County. He was arrested at home by two plainclothes officers on the afternoon of October 23, 2011. His DVD player was confiscated.

18. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Mr. Zhang Lidong

Mr. Zhang Lidong from Ranzhuang Town, Qingyuan County, Baoding City was arrested by agents from the Qingyuan Domestic Security Division and the Ranzhuang Government on October 7, 2011. After being tortured with a method called the iron chair for six days in the Domestic Security Division, Mr. Zhang was sent to the Qingyuan County Brainwashing Center.

19. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Hai Arrested

Mr. Wang Hai from Xiweituo Village, Yihezhuang Township, Zhuozhou City was arrested by agents from the Zhuzhou 610 Office on the evening of October 25, 2011 and held in the Lintun Forced Labor Camp. His young brother Mr. Wang Gang was persecuted and passed away on the evening of October 31, 2009.

20. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Manling and Ms. Liang Ruilan Arrested

Mr. Wang Manling and Ms. Liang Ruilan from Suxian District, Chenzhou City were arrested on the afternoon of October 24, 2011 and sent to the brainwashing center located at the Beihu District [Communist] Party School of Chenzhou.

21. [Dazhou City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Xiaobing Arrested

Mr. Li Xiaobing from Dazhou City was taken to the Dazhou City Brainwashing Center by agents from the Dazhou 610 Office and the Tongchuan District State Security Bureau on the afternoon of October 26, 2011.

22. [Chongqing] Additional Information about the Arrest of Ms. Deng Liping in Yubei District

Ms. Deng Liping, in her 60es, is from Yubei District Electronic School, Chongqing. She was arrested at a farmer's market at the end of September 2011. Her home was ransacked later and her computer and materials about the persecution of Falun Gong were confiscated. She is now being held in the Wangxiangtai Brainwashing Center in Lushan Village, Yubei District.
