Anlu City 610 Office in Hubei Province Holds Another Brainwashing Session to Persecute Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, Anlu City 610 Office in Hubei Province secretly held another brainwashing session to persecute practitioners. The activities were conducted inside the former Anlu City Disciplinary Committee office situated next to Jinqiu's main street in the Chuye District. Last July, the 610 Office persecuted many practitioners in a similar brainwashing session.

Three practitioners were seized and taken to this location to undergo brainwashing: Ms. Zeng Zhaoping, a teacher at Fenghuang Road Primary School; Hu Fengying, retired from the Anlu Cotton Factory; and Xie Zutao.

On September 15 at around 10:00 a.m., Song Huaming, head of Anlu City 610 Office; Nie Hanzhang; and a dozen officers from Anlu Police Station's Domestic Security Division and Fucheng Police Station drove to Fenghuang Primary School in two police cars. They asked Ms. Zeng if she would give up practicing Falun Gong. After Ms Zeng replied, “No!” a dozen officers dragged her into the car. Ms Zeng tried to protect herself by holding onto a pillar tightly with both hands. A colleague was afraid that the police would break her arms and tried to stop them but was threatened. They seized Ms. Zeng and took her to the brainwashing location. The session was headed by the head of the Political and Law Committee in Xiaogan City and Mr. Zheng, supervisor of Fucheng Education Ministry. The 610 Office also coerced the principal of Fenghuang Primary School into sending two teachers everyday to assist in “brainwashing” Ms. Zeng.

A day or two ago, Hu Fengying and Mr. Xie Zutao were secretly arrested by the same officials and taken to the same brainwashing location.

Before she practiced Falun Gong, Ms. Zeng Zhaoping suffered from tuberculosis and thyroid problems. She could not take on heavy duties at work and the school only gave her light duties such as typing and photocopying documents. She was also too weak to teach classes, and, when she had a relapse, she would be hospitalized for several months at a time. After practicing Falun Gong, she became an indispensable teacher at the school. After going to work at Fenghuang Primary School, she took on many important assignments and was praised by her colleagues and superiors. She was highly regarded by everyone in the school. Her superiors tried to protect her and prevent the police from taking her to the brainwashing session but were told that these were orders from above.

Mr. Xie Zutao was previously sentenced to three years in prison and tortured in the No 4 ward in Fanjiatai Prison, Shayang. On March 8, 2011, he was seized by four people, including Huang Yajun from the Domestic Security Division and a male worker surnamed Zhang, at the cotton factory where he worked. They took him to a brainwashing session in Hubei Province Legal Education Center. However, he failed a medical exam and was sent home the same day. Six months later, he was persecuted again.
