Solemn Declaration
I was illegally detained in a forced labor camp in 1999 by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) during the persecution of Falun Gong. Because of a lack of a clear understanding in Dafa principles and failure to send righteous thoughts, regretfully, I was persuaded by a former Dafa practitioner to agree to the “three statements.” I was later arrested again by the police and held for 15 days. During the detention, I was hung up with handcuffs, shocked with electric batons, and a hard plastic material was inserted into my nostrils. I wrote the “guarantee statement” attesting that I would not practice the exercises or recite Master's lectures aloud at the detention center.
I was illegally arrested and taken to a forced labor camp again after returning from my second appeal in Beijing, and was tortured there for eight days. I could not stand the severe torture and wrote the “guarantee statement” declaring that I would not practice the exercises in the camp. I damaged my cultivation path and disappointed Master's merciful salvation. I solemnly declare: “The above-mentioned behavior is unworthy of Master and Dafa and is null and void. I'll study the Fa more and do the three things well to atone for my mistakes.”

Solemn Declaration
I was arrested and forcibly taken to a brainwashing center on the evening of August 26, 2011. Every day at the center I had to watch fabricated videos that slandered Master, Dafa and Dafa disciples. They tried all different tricks to get me to “transform,” but to no avail. They finally threatened my children and grandchildren in front of me that it would damage their future if I refused to “transform.” Because of my attachment to sentimentality, I wrote and signed the “three statements.” I felt regretful after I was released. I solemnly declare: “Everything I have done that is not in accordance with Dafa is null and void. I'll diligently study the Fa and firmly cultivate myself well. I'll steadfastly practice to the end to make up for the damage I have caused Dafa.”
