(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 24 cities or counties in 11 provinces. In this report, 11 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 58 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Zhi Tortured at Shenyang City Women's Prison

On September 21, 2011, family members of Ms. Liu Zhi visited her at the Shenyang City Women's Prison. Ms. Liu Zhi was trembling, and her feet and legs were swollen. She could not sit properly and slid off the chair. Her head was shaking and she could not walk. Her health is extremely poor.

Ms. Yang Guifen, from West Third Street, Xinfu District, Fushun City, was arrested at home by officers from the Domestic Security Division, Fushun City on September 19, 2011. Her computer, printer, and a DVD burner were taken away. She is being held at the Nangou Detention Center in Fushun City.

4. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Many Practitioners Arrested

Recently, many practitioners were arrested and taken to the Lantian Hotel Brainwashing Center in Nong'an Town, Nong'an County. On September 13, 2011, practitioners from Huajia Township, Mr. Wang Zongren, Ms. Fu Guoli, and Ms. Liang Fuxia from Wanshun Township, were arrested. On September 14, 2011, practitioners from Nong'an Town, including Ms. Liu Yumei and Ms. Shi Yuzhen, were arrested. On September 16, 2011, Ms. Xu Yafen from Helong Township was arrested.

On September 13, 2011, Ms. Wei Suzhen from Xiawankou Village, Wuji Town, Rushan City was reported and arrested by officers from the Wuji Police Station. She was taken to the police station. She was released the same day.

7. [Ren County, Hebei Province] Mr. Han Guicang Taken to Xintai Brainwashing Center

On the evening of September 19, 2011, Mr. Han Guicang from Bianzhuang Village, Ren County was arrested by officers from the Xingwan Town Police Station. He was then transferred to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center.

8. [Chengde County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Guanghua Arrested

On the morning of September 21, 2011, Ms. Xu Guanghua, in her fifties, from Xiabancheng, Chengde County, went out with a practitioner the same age as her. They were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Chengde County Police Department. Now they are being held at the Chengde County Detention Center.

9. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Mr. Li Xinhua Arrested

On the morning of September 21, 2011, Mr. Li Xin Hua was arrested when he was talking to people about Falun Gong. Later, his home was ransacked by Chen Lin, director of the Huangchuan County Domestic Security Division and other officers.

10. [Xiong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Guiying Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor

On the morning of September 19, 2011, a practitioner from Wangheiying Village, Xiong County, Ms. Zhang Guiying was reported when she was talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from the Xiong County Police Department Domestic Security Division. In the afternoon, she was taken to the Baoding City Detention Center. On September 21, 2011, she was taken to the Shijiazhuang City Women's Forced Labor Camp for one year of forced labor.

11. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jing Mei Arrested

During mid-September 2011, Ms. Jing Mei from Yandong District, Shijiazhuang City was reported when she was talking to people about Falun Gong. She was arrested by officers from the Changfeng Police Station, Chang'an Police Department, Shijiazhuang City. Her home was ransacked.

12. [Linqing City, Shandong City] Ms. Kong Fanju Arrested

Ms. Kong Fanju, from Guotun Division, Daxinzhuang Township, Xinhua Neighborhood, Linqing City, was arrested by officers from the Linqing City 610 Office, Domestic Security Division, Xinhua Police Station. Now she is being held at the Liaocheng Detention Center.

13. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Fengyan Sentenced to Forced Labor

Ms. Liu Fengyan, from Xige Town, Fengnan District, Tangshan City, has been sentenced to one year of forced labor. Now she is being held at the Kaiping Labor Camp.

14. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Many Practitioners Arrested

On the morning of September 22, 2011, elderly practitioners including Ms. Mei Yufeng, Ms. Zhang Mei, Ms. Xiong Lamei and Ms. Li Huiying were reported when they were putting up truth-clarifying posters. They were arrested by officers from the Beijiao Police Station and taken to the Xinjian County Police Department. Ms. Xiong and Ms. Li were able to escape. Ms. Mei and Ms. Zhang are currently being held at the Xinjian County Police Department.

15. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Niu Tongqin Arrested and Taken to Brainwashing Center

On the morning of September 16, 2011, six officers of West Avenue, Guancheng District, Zhengzhou City arrested Ms. Niu Tongqin. She is a retired worker who was doing her housework at home. She was taken to the Wanqingshanzhuang Brainwashing Center.

16. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Yanli Arrested by Local Officers

Ms. Liu Yanli was arrested by officers from the local police department on the night of September 20, 2011. Police officers also went to her home to ransack it. Now she is being held at a local police station.

17. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Many Practitioners Arrested

In September 2011, many practitioners in Xingtai City were arrested by local police officers. Ms. Liu Guizhen, a retired employee of South Daguo Village Metallurgy Factory, was arrested at home by over twenty officers from the Qiaoxi District Domestic Security Division. There were people from a company that had helped to open her door on the afternoon of September 16, 2011. Ms. Nan Bingyu, from Changzheng Second Factory Residential Building, was arrested at home by officers from Qiaoxi District. Her home was ransacked, and her whereabouts are unknown.

On the afternoon of September 21, 2011, Ms. Xianghua (family name unknown), Ms. Sun Ying, Mr. Xu Junshan and three other elderly practitioners were studying the Fa at Xianghua's home. They were taken away by officers from the Qiaodong District Domestic Security Division and are being held at a brainwashing center.

19. [Yuanjiang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Gonggui Arrested

Mr. Li Gonggui, from Yuanjiang City, was arrested by officers including Wu Yingzhong, from the Huangmaozhou Town Government. He was taken to the Xiufeng Park Brainwashing Center in Yiyang City.

20. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Zefang Harassed

Ms. Yang Zefang, from Suining City, is a retired school teacher. Officers from the Suining City Police Department, the Chuanshan District Police Department, the Suining City 610 Office, the Suining City State Security Division, and the Yucai Road Police Station harassed and mistreated her and her family for a long time.

On the morning of September 21, 2011, Xu Jun, leader of the Domestic Security Division, Chuanshan District Police Department, and four other police officers again entered Ms. Yang Zefang's home. They had planned to arrest her and take her to a brainwashing center. They threatened her husband that they would come frequently to trouble her.

21. [Jin City, Hunan Province] Latest Information about Thirty Practitioners Arrested and Their Homes Ransacked

On the morning of September 5, 2011, officers from the Jin City Community Management Office, police station, and police department arrested over thirty practitioners including Ms. Liu Qingxiu, Ms. Liu Lianying, Ms. Gong Dexiu, Ms. Hu Huiling, Mr. Zhou Zeyu, Mr. Xiang Yang, Ms. Hu Xiaojun, Ms. Hu Xinyuan, Ms. Qu Shulan, Ms. Gong Xiaoming, Mr. Lu Yuanji, Ms. Hu Huaying, Ms. Hu Yufang, Ms. Li Mingxiu, Ms. Wang Yaoyu, Mr. Ren Wending, Mr. Yan Qiguo, Ms. Ding Xuecui, Ms. Fang Xiaopeng, Ms. Gong Junjun, and Ms. Xu Xie. Among them is an 82-year-old practitioner.

Ms. Hu Yufang, Mr. Ren Wending and Ms. Hu Xinyuan have been taken to Anxiang County, Changde City and other places. There are twelve people being held at the Jin City Detention Center. Ten days later, ten practitioners were released. Four hundred fifty yuan was extorted from each person as a “maintenance fee.” Ms. Hu Huaying, Mr. Xiang Yang, and Ms. Wang Yaoyu were rejected when they were taken to the Zhuzhou City Labor Camp.

The practitioners known to have been released are Mr. Xiang Yang, Ms. Hu Huiling, Ms. Hu Xiaojun, Ms. Gong Xiaojun, Ms. Wang Yaoyu, Ms. Li Mingxiu, Ms. Xu Jie, Ms. Qu Shulan, Ms. Fang Xiaopeng and Ms. Ding Xuecui.

22. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Ms. He Fei and Ms. Wang Nengfang Arrested

Ms. He Fei and Ms. Wang Nengfang, from Shiyan City, in their forties, were arrested when they were talking to people about Falun Gong in Yunxi County. Now they are being held at the Yunxi County Detention Center.

23. [Tianshui City, Gansu Province] More Information about Mr. Wang An'quan

On the night of September 19, 2011, Mr. Wang An'quan and Ms. Liu Tianfeng were arrested. On the morning of September 20, 2011, Mr. Zhao Weijun was arrested. Now Mr. Wang is back home. Ms. Liu was transferred to the Tianshui City Prison. Mr. Zhao is still being held.

24. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Baiqi Arrested

Mr. Li Baiqi, from the Information Electronics Fifth Institute, was arrested by officers from the Wushan Police Station and the Tianhe Police Department on September 21, 2011. His home was ransacked.
