(Clearwisdom.net) On June 25, 2010, while practitioner Ms. Wang Fuling was posting truth-clarification signs in the Shuguang residential area in Haidian district, she was spotted by Hu Xuejun, a policeman from the Shuguang Police Station. Hu called the security of the residential district. Together they arrested Ms. Wang and took her to the Wanshousi Police Station. On the second day, she was transferred to Beijing's Haidian Police Department. Later, Ms. Wang was detained in the Haidian Detention Center. One month later, she was transferred to the Beijing Detention Center. The next month, she was transferred back to the Haidian Detention Center. During this period of time, her family was never allowed to visit her.

On March 21, 2011, the Haidian Court brought Ms. Wang to trial. She refused to wear a prisoner's uniform, so the trial was delayed for one hour. Ms. Wang declared her innocence, citing that practicing Falun Gong is not a crime. Judge You Tao would not allow Ms. Wang to defend herself, and the court hastily adjourned.

In September 2011, before the Mid-Autumn Festival, when Ms. Wang's family visited her in the Haidian Detention Center, they learned that the Haidian Court had sentenced Ms. Wang to a three-year term in May 2011. The court had issued notifications for the first and second trials without notifying the family.

The notification for the first trial was issued on May 27, 2011. The chief judge was You Tao; assistant judges were Li Keying and Dai Wanying; and the clerk was Liu Huifang. The notification for the second trial was issued on August 30, 2011. The chief judges were Bai Jun, Zhai Changxi and Liu Lu.

The family was shocked by the news and upset that the court sentenced her without giving any information to the family.
