(Clearwisdom.net) We have walked steadily on the path of validating the Fa for the past eight or nine years, and we know it is because our compassionate Teacher has been constantly caring for us. If we have righteous thoughts and righteous actions, make sure each of our thoughts is on the Fa, truly do things according to what Teacher has taught, and do the things that a Dafa disciple should be doing, then the old forces will have no loophole to take advantage of, and Teacher will be able to help us. In other words, as long as we follow what Teacher has said, and do the things that a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple should be doing, then we are walking on the cultivation path arranged by Teacher, and this is believing in Teacher and the Fa to the greatest extent. The old forces would have nothing to do and there would be no persecution.
This used to be my entire understanding on this issue based on Fa principles, but then when I read Minghui's article “Personal View: Eliminating the Persecution Before It Manifests Is Itself a Truly Divine Occurrence in the Human World” published on January 25, 2011 (Posted on Clearwisdom on February 8, 2011), I realized that, in fact, this is exactly what Teacher wants and it is also a manifestation of divine power. The following description of my experiences shows the greatness and compassion of Teacher.
I have been monitored by the local 610 Office and the state security bureau. Whenever one of the CCP's “sensitive dates” came up, there are people who come to monitor us and “look after” us. We are not affected by it and just do whatever we normally do. I want to emphasize that we must completely eliminate the attachment to fear and not be interfered with by it. Teacher said,
“Fear can cause one to make mistakes, and fear can cause one to lose a predestined opportunity. Fear is a death trap on a human being's journey toward divinity.” (“Pass the Deadly Test”)
Eliminating fear is not something that naturally happens when we just talk about it. It is eliminated little by little as we study the Fa a lot and solidly cultivate ourselves.
Before practicing Dafa, in my work I was good at writing. When the persecution first started, because I was not diligent and I had attachments, the old forces took advantage of it. I was arrested, my home was ransacked, and I had lots of money extorted from me. During the persecution, the evil people also knew that I was good at writing. Also, because I had a relatively high position at work, I became quite well known. I was jailed for several months and when I came back, my work place didn't assign me anything specific. After a year they just told me, “You can just stay home and you don't have to come here. We will treat you just as if you are working.” So I was able to just openly stay home and do the things a Dafa disciple should do. My home environment is quite good. My wife is also a disciple and she is not too busy at work, either. We both have steady incomes and do not have much to worry about. Our children don't cultivate, but know the facts about the persecution. They support Dafa and our cultivation, and they work during the day. I later enlightened to the fact that Teacher had long arranged this stable environment for us to cultivate and save sentient beings in the Fa rectification period.
After I was released from jail, I searched for the reason that I was persecuted, looked for my attachments, and tried to eliminate them in cultivation. I also increased the amount of Fa study, as well as the number of times of sending forth righteous thoughts. Because I had plenty of time to study the Fa and to send forth righteous thoughts, my cultivation state was back to normal within about half a year. The local coordinator shared with me and I wrote a “Solemn Declaration”. I quickly got involved in projects validating the Fa and also participated in some coordination work. We started a material production site in my home and I began to write some materials.
Teacher said,
“Exposing the wicked policemen and bad persons and publicizing their evil deeds is extremely effective at shocking and restraining those irrational, wicked people. At the same time, by clarifying the facts to the people on a local level it most directly exposes, and generates public awareness of, the wicked persecution. It is also a great way to save the people who have been poisoned and deceived by the lies. I hope all Dafa disciples and new students in Mainland China will do this well.” (“Master's Comment on a Student's Article”)
Following what Teacher said, I wrote about my persecution and published it on the Minghui website. Then, I made informational materials about Falun Dafa for local distribution. I also shared with other practitioners who have suffered persecution and encouraged them to also expose the evil. I wrote and organized more than 80 percent of the local persecution related articles for the Minghui website. I'm also responsible for editing and sending the local truth clarifying materials to Minghui website.
The material site gradually grew. The functions became more complete and we were able to make all kinds of materials. I'm also responsible for purchasing raw materials for other material sites in our area. I have two burners (one for VCD and one for DVD), four printers (A3 and A4 color printers, and two laser printers), a plastic envelope machine, a card cutting machine, paper knives, and also some home-made tools for binding books. With all these, almost any kinds of materials needed can be made. Because there are many different kinds of materials being made, there are also many raw materials, half-finished materials, finished-materials, and waste lying around everywhere. Our furniture is partly used to store these materials and all the machines and tools are openly sitting on the tables and floors. Fellow practitioners who know about this situation said to be careful and hide the tools. But I really have nowhere to hide them. I said to my wife, “Don't worry. Our home is different from others. We have so many machines and materials. Where could we hide them? Also, they all have lives and they are here for the Fa. They have to work everyday. How could they work and save sentient beings if they are hidden? All we can do is to study the Fa more, send forth righteous thoughts more, and keep our dimensions clean. As long as our starting point is right and we walk on our path righteously, then the old forces will have no excuses. We firmly believe in Teacher and the Fa and most importantly, our compassionate Teacher is constantly watching over us. No one else can make the decision but our Teacher. Look, Teacher's photo has always been on the wall. Teacher is watching us and caring for us. A great Falun is on top of our home, and the evil cannot come in. Therefore, we are safe.”
Over these years, we have paid no attention to “sensitive dates” in our minds, even the Olympics, the evil party's “60 years celebration”, or the World Expo. Everyday we just do things that a Dafa disciple should be doing. My machines and I are always in our spots righteously and we have never hidden ourselves. Each of us is always doing what we should be doing. We have deeply experienced the “the appearance stems from the mind” that Teacher talked about.
Based on the Fa, we all know that the reason we are persecuted is because we have strayed off the path that Teacher has arranged for us. It is because we have holes and the old forces took advantage of them. We are the disciples of the Great Law of the universe and we are doing the most sacred things in the universe. If we walk on our paths righteously, then the old forces will not dare to persecute us.
When disciples have ample righteous thoughts
Master has the power to turn back the tide

There is no cause-effect relationship between cultivation and persecution. The persecution does not happen when we cultivate ourselves well. From another perspective, isn't it another manifestation of divine power that we constantly keep righteous thoughts, do things like a Dafa disciple according to Teacher's requirements, and completely eliminate the persecution?
To summarize, our experience has shown us that we must solidly study the Fa as Teacher requires us to do, because that is the basis for everything. We must send forth righteous thoughts more to keep our dimensions clean, carefully do and balance the three things that Teacher asks us to do, and not to leave any of them out. Do not think too much and just do the things a Dafa disciple should be doing. Then one will achieve a state like Teacher described, “Get rid of any attachment you have, and don’t think about anything. Just do everything a Dafa disciple should do, and everything will be covered.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference”, Guiding the Voyage)
It is exactly because we have walked righteously on our path in cultivation, and although it seems they are persecuting me by not letting me work, it is in fact another arrangement by Teacher for my cultivation. Also, my work place gives me an extra bonus every year. When I first got it, I had tears in my eyes. I very clearly knew it was an encouragement from Teacher. It encouraged me even more to not forget my mission and responsibilities, and to do well in the things that I am supposed to do.
