(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, WikiLeaks published a U.S. Diplomatic document about a Chinese soldier who participated in the Tiananmen Square Massacre on June 4, 1989. It revealed how he and his unit were on the southeast corner of Tiananmen Square and shot some bullets towards the sky to intimidate the crowd. Soon, news spread that 100 soldiers were missing, and it was believed that they were killed by the students. The troop quickly conducted a head count, and they found that they were indeed missing about 100 soldiers.

The soldiers were mad. When the order to shoot was given, the soldiers unleashed machine gun fire at the crowds; more than 1,000 people were killed. They quickly burned the bodies with gasoline, then had the ashes carried away by helicopter.

This one soldier was in shock when the 100 “killed” soldiers re-appeared. He felt so pained from being deceived and shooting unarmed civilians as a result. He told his mother what happened in September 1989, when he visited his family in the countryside of Zhejiang Province. During his vacation, his troop leader passed an order through local officials, that he was absolutely forbidden to reveal any army affairs to anyone in his village.

Using deception to fan hatred is the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) common tactic. Perhaps the most shocking of these incidents is the CCP-staged Tiananmen Square “self-immolation” on January 23, 2001. The CCP quickly broadcast the event, deceiving countless people, and instilling hatred of Falun Gong among the public. Some joined in with the persecution due to being poisoned by such a stunt, and could not see how they were cheated like the soldiers mentioned above.

As the saying goes, paper cannot wrap up a fire. After the CCTV (China Central Television) video was played in slow motion, many clues indicated how the incident was a big frame-up. The video reveals how one of the immolators, Liu Chuling, was hit in the head and killed by a heavy object; she didn't burn to death. A journalist from the Washington Post did an investigation in Liu Chunling's hometown of Kaifeng City, Henan Province, and found that she was a prostitute who never practiced Falun Gong, and she often beat her old mother and young daughter.

Among some of the other facts uncovered, Wang Jindong, supposedly the organizer of the incident, was photographed sitting with a Sprite bottle filled with gasoline on his lap, but the plastic bottle somehow survived the fire.

CCTV journalist Li Yuqiang conducted many interviews after the incident as part of ongoing CCP propaganda to defame Falun Gong. She was assigned to talk to detained Falun Gong practitioners at the beginning of 2002, in the Hebei Province Brainwashing Center. When she arrived, some practitioners asked her why the bottle of gasoline in Wang Jindong's lap was completely unburned in the fire. Facing such a direct question, she responded, “We shot that scene after the fact. If it looks suspicious we’ll stop showing it.”

Photo of a scene shot “after the fact” showed on CCTV, with the plastic bottle of gasoline completely intact. An officer stands behind Wang Jingdong, as if waiting for Wang finish reciting his lines before covering him up with a fire blanket.

The soldier mentioned in the WikiLeaks article recognized that he was deceived, and recognized that he was used as a killing machine for the CCP. We hope that anyone who has been misled by the Tiananmen Square “self-immolation” stunt can take a closer look at how it was staged, to see clearly the despicable nature of the CCP, and to learn more about the true situation of Falun Gong.
