(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 29 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 29 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yu Yuliang and Mr. Liu Jiacheng Arrested

Ms. Yu Yuliang and Mr. Liu Jiacheng, both in their 60s, were taken to the “legal education center” (actually a brainwashing center) at Er'ehu, Yingjie Town, Ziyang City. Their homes were ransacked by officers from the Jianyang City 610 Office and Domestic Security Division at the beginning of September, 2011, and their personal belongings were taken away.

Mr. Liu Zhaofu, was arrested on September 22, 2011, and is being held at the Jiaohe City Detention Center.

On the afternoon of March 18, 2008, Bai Mingku, an officer from the Jiaohe City Police Department, along with officers from the Xinzhan Town Police Station, entered Mr. Liu's home uninvited twice and ransacked it. They took over a thousand yuan in cash. They also took a motorcycle, TV, satellite receiver, two cell phones, an MP3 player, electronic books, Dafa truth-clarifying materials, and some documents. His wife, Ms. Shi Xiuzhen, was also arrested and tortured. She is now being held in the Jilin Province Women's Prison. Mr. Liu was not home at the time, and was forced to remain away from home indefinitely to avoid arrest.

In 2003, Mr. Liu was held at the Jiaohe City Detention Center for 15 days.

3. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information on the Arrest of Ms. Yu Xiufen

On the morning of September 22, 2011, under the direction of the Benxi City 610 Office, approximately 170 police officers from the Benxi City Domestic Security Division, Criminal Division, and police stations in Benxi County, arrested many practitioners including Mr. Huang Yan, Ms. Zou Hong, Ms. Yue Xiufen and her husband, Ms. Zhao Fenghui, Ms. Yuan Shumei, Ms. Fu Xiumei, Mr. Wang Peihua, Ms. Wang Yufeng and her husband, Ms. Gao Yujie and her husband, Mr. Cui He, Ms. He Yuqin, Ms. Bao Yumei and her husband, Ms. Liu Fei, Ms. Cao Dongmei, etc.

Mr. Huang Yan, Ms. Zou Hong, and Ms. Yue Xiufen were taken to the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center, Fushun City. Ms. Yuan Shumei, Ms. Fu Xiumei, Mr. Wang Peihua, Ms. Wang Yufeng and her husband, Ms. Gaio Yujie and her husband, Mr. Cui He, Ms. He Yuqin, and Ms. Bao Yumei and her husband were taken to the Xiaoshi Railway Training Center Brainwashing Center in Benxi County. Ms. Zhao Fenghui's back was injured because police officers brutally hit her and she was taken to the Benxi County First Hospital. Ms. Liu Fei and Ms. Cao Dongmei were released.

4. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

On September 25, 2011, practitioners from Nanchang City went to Youlan, Dotou Township to deliver Shen Yun DVDs and clarify the truth when were arrested by officers from the Youlan Police Station, Nanchang County. Seven practitioners were reportedly arrested. They were taken to the Nanchang County Police Department Domestic Security Division and are now being held in a detention center in Nanchang County.

6. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Many Practitioners Including Ms. Liu Yonghua Harassed

On September 15, 2011, Ms. Liu Yonghua, Ms. Song Shuhua, and Ms. Zhang Xiujun from Nanqiulan Village, Mingyi Township, Laishui County, were harassed. Their whereabouts are unknown.

On September 27, 2011, Ms. Tang Huifang was arrested and taken to the Party School's brainwashing center. She is now back home.

On September 27, 2011, Ms. Zhang Shufen from Ximingyi Village was tricked into leaving her home and was pressured to write the three statements and have her fingerprints taken, but she did not cooperate. She was released after developing symptoms of high blood pressure.

7. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yan Sentenced to Forced Labor

On September 25, 2011, Ms. Liu Yan was arrested by officers including Liu Mingcheng, who took a computer, printer, cash, and Dafa books from Ms. Liu's home. That same day, they took her to a detention center. Ms. Liu later had a physical and showed symptoms of hepatitis B. She was then released.

On the afternoon of September 26, Ms. Liu went to the Shuangqiao District Police Department to ask for the items that the police had taken. She was held at the police department and was not allowed to go home. Her family found out that she had been sentenced to one and a half of years of forced labor. On September 30, 2011, she was taken to the Tangshan City Forced Labor Camp.

8. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Cuiyun Arrested

On the morning of September 29, 2011, officers from the Zhaoyuan City Domestic Security Division, Zhaoyuan City 610 Office, climbed over a wall to forcefully enter Ms. Liu Cuiyun's home in North Fengjia Village, Jinling Town, and arrest her. Her whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Gansu Province] Mr. Li Fuzhi Held in Gangu County Detention Center

Mr. Li Fuzhi, previously employed at the Tianshui Xinghuo Machine Tool Plant, went to the Maiji District Police Department to apply for a temporary identification and was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division. He is now in the Gangu County Detention Center and will be tried.

10. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Lixin Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

Mr. Li Lixin from Huludao City was once sentenced to five to six years of incarceration in Dabei Prison. In 2011, he was again sentenced to three years and was taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Both he and Mr. Liu Yang from Jinzhou City have had their terms extended for three more months.

11. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ding Xi's Term Expires Soon at Wangcun Forced Labor Camp

In 2009, Ms. Ding Xi from Rizhao City, who was arrested in Jamusi City, was taken to the Rizhao City Detention Center in Shandong Province after her term expired in the Heilongjiang Province Detoxification Center. On March 4, 2011, she was taken to the No. 2 Division, Wangcun Forced Labor Camp, Zibo City, by officers from the Legal Department, Donggang Police Department in Rizhao City. It was recently reported that her term would soon expire. However, agents from the Rizhao City 610 Office and police officers planned to take her to a brainwashing center.

On September 29, 2011, Ms. Yi Guizhen and Mr. Guo Zhenhong from a power plant in Qiansuo were arrested by officers from Gaoling Town. On September 30, 2011, they were held at the Huludao City Detention Center.

13. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] 71-Year-Old Retired Teacher Again Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yu Daxiang, 71, is a retired teacher from the No. 174 Factory, Guanghan City. On September 21, 2011, she was sentenced to four years in prison (served outside of prison) by the Guanghan City Court.

In May 2004, she was sentenced to six months in prison by the Guanghan City Court.

Ms. Li Yongying from Jiangbei, Chongqing, was arrested on September 23, 2011, and taken to the Tieshanping Brainwashing Center, Jiangbei, Chongqing. She has been on a hunger strike for approximately six days.

16. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Yulan Still Being Held at Changchun City Women's Prison

In September 2007, Ms. Li Yulan from Chifeng City was again arrested when she left home to avoid arrest. Without being able to notify her family, she has now secretly been sentenced to six years in prison. She is being held in the Jilin City Women’s Prison.

17. [Raoyang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Ling Su Arrested

Ms. Ling Su from Mazhuang Village, Raoyang County, went to Tongyue Township to apply for an ID on September 28, 2011, and was arrested and taken to the Tongyue Township Police Station. She was later taken to the Raoyang County Party School and is being held there.

18. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Recent Information on Ms. Liu Zhenling and Ms. Tian Jinshu

On September 28, 2011, Ms. Liu Zhenling's family from Langfang received a notice from two officers from the domestic security division, indicating that Ms. Liu had been sentenced to two years of forced labor.

Ms. Tian Jinshu, was released on bail from her village government agents.

19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Nine Practitioners including Mr. Li Guohua to Be Tried

Officers from the Wuhan City 610 Office and Wuhan City Police Department Domestic Security Division recently transferred nine practitioners—Mr. Zhang Weijie, Mr. Zhang Su, Mr. Li Guohua, Mr. Xiong Weiming, Mr. Xia Yang, Ms. Zhu Chunlian, Mr. Feng Zhen, Ms. Feng Yun, and Ms. Han Shuhua—to the Wuchang District Procurator. They plan on trying these practitioners.
