(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in eight provinces. In this report, eight practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least nine practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Qing'an, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Lin Xiumei Injected with Unknown Drug
Wang Shubo from the Suihua 610 Office and others arrested Ms. Lin Xiumei on August 3, 2010. Within half a month, because of torture, Ms. Lin changed from being vibrant and healthy to being pale-faced and emaciated.
When Li Jianfei interrogated Ms. Lin, he showed her a list of names of possible practitioners and tried to force Ms. Lin to point out other practitioners. Ms. Lin refused to comply. Li Jianfei then grabbed a bottle and fiercely hit Ms. Lin's head with it. Ms. Lin lost consciousness from the blows. While unconscious, she was injected with an unknown drug that caused her to have a heart attack.
2. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Xiuxia Sentenced to Ten Years and Taken to Heizuizi Women's Prison in Changchun

4. [Huadian, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Yuhe Transferred to Gongzhuling Prison in Jilin Province
5. [Donggang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Shuhua and Mr. Li Cheng Arrested
In Dandong City, police officers arrested Ms. Wang Shuhua and Mr. Li Cheng, residents of Changshan Town, on December 10, 2010. Their homes were also ransacked.
6. [Nanjing, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wu Shunzhen and Others Arrested
On the morning of December 11, 2010, Ms. Wu Shunzhen, Mr. Wei Min and another practitioner were arrested while distributing truth clarification materials. The police officers ransacked their homes and took them to a detention center.
7. [Qingdao, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Lianhua Arrested
Ms. Chen Lianhua from the Fushanhou area in the northern section of Qingdao City was arrested on December 7, 2010, while she was telling people the facts about Falun Gong. The police then ransacked her home.
8. [Jinyun, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Chen Mingxing and Others Secretly Sentenced
Mr. Chen Mingxing from Jinyun was arrested by the Lishui police on May 23, 2010. On November 26, 2010, Mr. Chen was sentenced to four and a half years. Another two practitioners, including Ms. Li Zhoue, were sentenced to ten years, and a female practitioner from Sanxi Village was sentenced to five and a half years.
9. [Li County, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhou Zelan Secretly Sentenced
The Li County Court secretly held a trial against Ms. Zhou Zelan on September 10, 2010, without informing her family. On November 30, Ms. Zhou was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
10. [Jinan, Shandong Province] Mr. He Xunming Arrested
Officers from the Jinan Police Bureau at the Lixia Branch, Jiefanglu Police Station, Jiefanglu Street Administration Office and the local Residential Community Committee arrested Mr. He Xunming and ransacked his home.
Mr. He Xunming was an official within the Shandong Provincial Import and Export Trading Committee. Solely because he practices Falun Gong, he was sentenced to three years of forced labor in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp, where he has been held in solitary confinement many times.
11. [Chaoyang, Liaoning Province] Mr. Guo Xiukun Taken to the Daxing Forced Labor Camp in Beijing
Mr. Guo Xiukun from Chaoyang City was arrested in the Tongzhou Area of Beijing on September 28, 2010. He was held at the Tongzhou Area Detention Center. Recently, he was sentenced to two years of forced labor and taken to Daxing Forced Labor Camp in Beijing.
12. [Beipiao, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yang Xiulan Taken to a Forced Labor Camp
Officers from the Beipiao Domestic Security Division and the local police station took Ms. Yang Xiulian from Batuyingzi Village into custody on September 30, 2010. Ms. Yang was detained for fifteen days and then released. However, the next day, the police arrested her again and directly took her to a forced labor camp, sentencing her to 18 months.
