(Clearwisdom.net) Clearwisdom correspondents recently discovered that Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Keyu from Luoping County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, was illegally sentenced to three years imprisonment. Kunming Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Yan Guisheng was illegally sentenced to three years.
Ms. Chen Keyu, 38, lived in the railway district in Qujing City, Luoping County. In March 2010 when she clarified the truth of Falun Gong to people on the train, the authorities picked her up and took her to Luoping Train Station Police Office. The Train Police refused to process Ms. Chen, so she was arrested and taken to Kaiyuan Railway Police Station Domestic Security Division. Police officers from the Domestic Security Division seized her home, computers, printers and a large number of personal belongings. Her family lost contact with her. It was recently discovered that Ms. Chen was secretly sentenced to three years of imprisonment. She is currently in the Yunnan No. 2 Woman Prison’s training ward, which is the “strictly controlled” ward.
Mr. Yan Guisheng, 38, is from Kunming. In July 2010, while he clarified the truth to people in Kunming Yuyatang Park, he was arrested once again by officers from Yueyatang Police Station. The police illegally searched his house and confiscated his belongings. He was detained in the Wuhua District Detention Center. Recently, when his family delivered things to Mr. Yan, they found out that he had been secretly sentenced to three years of imprisonment. On December 6, he was sent to the Yunnan Province No. 1 Prison. His wife has been hospitalized because of vertebral fractures in a car accident, leaving his child alone at home.
In 2006, Mr. Yan was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. At the end of 2009 he was released. In 2007 he was detained in Ward 2 of the Yunnan Province No. 1 Prison. He had a dispute with ward political director Feng Qiaowang, who is in charge of supervising Falun Gong practitioners. Feng Qiaowang was so furious that he ordered fetters to be put on Mr. Yan and locked him in the Strict Control Ward for more than two weeks. In June 2007, he sent Mr. Yan to be “transformed.” The “transformation” session was held jointly by Yunnan Province Prison's local 610 Office and the local police station.
