(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, in Laishui County, Hebei Province, brainwashing sessions were set up by the Chinese Communist regime to persecute Falun Gong practitioners from various areas of Laishui. This was demanded by the provincial administrators from the Baoding District 610 Offices. According to sources, twenty-four practitioners have been taken into custody and forced to attend the Laishui brainwashing sessions. Among these cases, the persecution of practitioners in Wangchun, Shiting Town and Louchun Village has been particularly severe.
On September 17, 2010, practitioners from Laishui Town and Wangchun Village were taken into custody, detained, and sent to brainwashing sessions. These practitioners included: Ning Shumei and Gao Shuxian from Yongyang Town in Junshi Village; Wang Xiling, Bao Zhenjiang, Luo Lingmei, and Zhu Fengqi from Yanling Village; and Zhang Yulan, Shen Hai, Gao Chun, and Fang Xiuying from Wangchun. Xing Xiumin from Laishui Town tried to clarify the truth to the staff who were overseeing practitioners. As a result, she was beaten by Zhang Jiuhong from Laishui court until she could not walk. She has since returned home.
At present, Zheng Decai, the director of the Women's Unit in Bachagou Village in Shiting Town is still monitoring and harassing practitioners, not allowing many practitioners to go home.
