(Clearwisdom.net) During eleven years of cultivation, I have experienced brutal persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and was sentenced to four years in prison, but it didn't change my view about Teacher and the principles of Falun Dafa. I would like to report on the benefits I reaped through practicing Dafa and some incredible things I witnessed.
On January 29, 1999, I happened to be at a bookstore and bought the book Zhuan Falun. Upon returning home I read the entire book in one sitting. This was how I started my cultivation practice.
Whenever I had time I would read Zhuan Falun. I learned and came to understand many principles, and my view about the world changed a lot. My ethical standard was raised to new heights and I became open minded, fair, generous, and happy, and may family life became harmonious.
One day I had a dream where Teacher's photo in Zhuan Falun changed, and Teacher's hair turned curly blue and He had long ears touching His shoulders. He was wearing a golden cassock standing on a golden lotus. There was a Falun in his hand radiating golden rays. Two guardians showed up on either side. As Teacher moved his hands I was brought to a perfectly clear place. Another movement of his hand brought a golden heart onto my body and it became one with my own heart. Teacher said to the guardians, "She has more work to do. Take her home now." I saw myself flowing effortlessly back to my bed. I can't describe how I felt when I woke up. My heart disease disappeared that day, and I experienced the great feeling of being free of illness. To this very day I remember this dream vividly, and it serves to encourage me to move forward in cultivation.
One day in July 2000, I was riding home on a bicycle carrying a heavy load of rice. As I reached an intersection, one car sped toward me and another from the left. It was too late for the cars to stop, and they crashed into each other and me. Somehow my bicycle and I flew up more than a meter high and landed stably more than two meters away. I was shocked and realized that Teacher had saved me. The drivers of the two cars were slightly injured. I told them that I was fine, and that Teacher had saved me.
One day at noon in August 2009, I was boiling water while preparing to cook some dumplings, when suddenly the pot tilted and boiling water poured all over my legs. I shouted out loud, "Falun Dafa is good! I am a disciple of Master Li Hongzhi. Master can save me!" My father heard me and rushed over. While rushing he slipped and fell onto the spilled hot water. I immediately asked him to say, "Falun Dafa is good!"and I helped him move into a different room. To my great joy, neither of us was hurt.
My father is close to eighty years old this year. Under the tyrannical rule of communism, he has experienced many painful moments. When I was imprisoned, he came to see me and said with tears in his eyes, "Child! Your parents understand your situation, but you need to take care of yourself!" I told them to remember,"Falun Dafa is good!"and they nodded.
After I was released from the forced labor camp, I talked to my husband about helping my parents, as they were too old to do some of their daily chores, and my younger brothers and sisters were too busy to help, due to their jobs. Near my parents home is a park, where we often walked and told people the facts about Falun Dafa. Some people we talked with had been brainwashed by the CCP and my father helped me clarify the facts to them. He very much likes the book, Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He gave out copies of the book as gifts, and he likes me to read Zhuan Falun to him. Because of his faith in Falun Dafa he escaped injury in several accidents. For example, more than once he fell off a meter-high platform and was not hurt. He said he was protected by Master.
As my father continued studying the Fa, overcame many illnesses, including cerebral infarction, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and coronary heart disease.
The above incidents are what I have experienced. Although I can only do a bird's eye view in reporting, they are factual and are a sampling of many similar incidents. My hope is that people who don't understand what Falun Dafa is about will read Zhuan Falun so that they won't miss this very rare opportunity to create a bright future for themselves.
