(Clearwisdom.net) As another July 20th passed by, I asked myself: "Why has the persecution lasted to this day? What's the fundamental reason?" I believe that one of the key elements is that the righteous thoughts of many practitioners are not up to par. Some practitioners manifest fear at the very moment righteous thoughts are required to negate the persecution. I used to be one of them.
As early as 2004, Master taught us "Stop the Evil Acts with Righteous Thoughts," "Eliminate the Dark Minions With Righteous Thoughts," "In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not Human," and other lectures on this topic.
In the "Teaching the Fa at the 2005 Manhattan International Fa Conference" Master said:
"So Dafa disciples should not be afraid, and they should handle everything in an upright and dignified way. It is the evil beings that are scared."
"So I hope you will do even better in the journey ahead, be upright and dignified, have stronger righteous thoughts, and do even better. No matter what situation you may encounter or in what circumstances you may find yourself, you have to be like a Dafa disciple and you can't act impulsively. You need to have enough righteous thoughts."
Have our righteous thoughts sufficiently strengthened over the past five years? Would the persecution drag on to this day if we met all of the requirements set forth by Master and Dafa?
Once, more than 20 policemen came to the home of a practitioner, looking to arrest her. The practitioner, who is in her 60s and is from the countryside, stood before them with dignity. She told them with strong righteous thoughts: "I am a Dafa disciple. Who are you? You cannot harm me!" The evil factors behind the policemen were immediately eliminated, and they left in a hurry. Such a dangerous case of impending persecution was dissolved in an instant with the practitioner's strong righteous thoughts. There are actually plenty of examples like this.
We are Dafa disciples tasked with validating the Fa in this human world, and we have Master, who is with us at all times. Then what are we afraid of? Are there some things that we consider impossible, and do such human thoughts actually block our path?
We must look within and eliminate the fundamental causes for our insufficient righteous thoughts. Do we lack complete faith in Master and the Fa? Or, is there a lack of sincerity when we study the Fa that renders us unable to uphold the Fa's principles when tribulations arrive?
Fellow practitioners, let us study the Fa well and cultivate ourselves well. Let's quicken our steps in clarifying the truth and save every savable sentient being. Let's enrich our righteous thoughts and thoroughly eliminate the evil. It is our responsibility to deliver the message of Dafa to sentient beings everywhere!
