Avoiding a Tragedy

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a medical doctor at a hospital in Chongqing City. In the past, I was really influenced by atheism. After watching propaganda that defamed Falun Gong and its founder on the television over the last few years, whenever someone mentioned Falun Gong, I associated it with superstition and mental patients, and felt terrified.

A year ago, a Falun Gong practitioner told me the truth about Falun Gong, and in particular about the staged "Tiananmen self-immolation" and the "siege of Zhongnanhai." I understood that practitioners of Falun Gong are good people who follow the requirements of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I understood that the "Tiananmen self-immolation" and the "siege of Zhongnanhai" were propaganda stunts carefully orchestrated by the Communist Party. At the recommendation of that practitioner, I happily withdrew from the Communist Party and its affiliated associations.

One evening in December 2009, my husband came home with a very bad cold. I went to the hospital and got the usual medicine for him. By the time I got home, cooked something for dinner, and was ready to give him the medication it was already after 11:00 p.m.

My husband slowly fell asleep and I dozed off on the couch. Suddenly a noise woke me up. I saw that my husband's eyes were closed, his face was pale, and his body was shaking. The bottle of medicine was only half full. I immediately thought, "Oh, no, he 's having a reaction." I instinctively automatically removed the infusion needle. Since he had taken this medicine many times before and never had a reaction, I did not prepare the medicine needed to treat a reaction.

It was too late to go to the hospital. I had seen a patient in my hospital die in less than five minutes when he had a similar reaction. I grabbed my husband's hands and shook them. I said, "Wake up, wake up." My shouting woke up our child, who was scared and started crying.

Just as tragedy was about to strike, I suddenly remembered what the Falun Gong practitioner had told me, "Reciting 'Falun Dafa is good, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good' often, will turn bad fortune into good and protect one's life." I quickly recited to my husband, "Falun Dafa is good! Truth-Compassion-Tolerance is good!" After I said this three times, my husband stopped shaking and his hands, which had felt so cold, warmed up. He slowly opened his eyes. I was so happy that I cried like a baby and then laughed. I told my husband about the reaction to the infusion and told him that Falun Dafa had saved him. My husband said he felt unwell and felt very cold and did not remember what had happened. I knelt down on the floor and pressed my hands together in reverence to thank Master Li for saving my husband's life. My husband also pressed his hands together and kept saying, "Thank you, Master Li Hongzhi! Thank you, Master Li Hongzhi!"

My family and I personally witnessed the incredible power of Falun Dafa. We truly believe that Falun Dafa is an extraordinary science, and clearly see the CCP propaganda against Falun Dafa for what it it. My husband and my child have also withdrawn their memberships from party organizations. My whole family's life is getting better and better.

Master Li Hongzhi Gave Me a Second Life

I am a farmer from Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. I am 73 years old. Last December, I felt unwell. At first I did not pay much attention to the symptoms and thought I was just tired and would feel better in a few days. After the Chinese New Year, I felt pain throughout my whole body. My family sent me to hospital where I underwent a series of examinations. I was admitted to the cancer ward of the County Hospital.

The doctor and my family would not tell me what was wrong with me, but from their expressions, I knew I had a terminal illness. After two weeks, I went home. All our neighbors knew that I had an illness and came to visit us. A few days later, my family took me to Yantai City for more tests. The diagnosis was the same. The doctor in Yantai told my family, "There is no point in hospitalizing him. Go home and give him some good food, don't let him get upset, and maintain his current condition for as long as you can."

My wife and daughter-in-law both practice Falun Dafa. They had often told me to recite "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good" and "Falun Dafa is good" so I would be rewarded. Because I was generally very healthy, I hadn't paid much attention to what they had said.

Now that I was sick, and after paying 20,000 yuan for my hospital stay and still not being cured, I thought my life was coming to an end and had no hope of recovery. It was then that I started to recite "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good" day and night.

A miracle happened. Slowly I was able to go outside, then I was able to work on the farm. Now I feel that I have pretty much returned to normal. I know Master Li Hongzhi helped me. He gave me a second life. I wanted to write about my own experiences, and tell all the people who do not yet know the truth: Please remember: "Falun Dafa is good. Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good."
