(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, July 31, 2010, an International Fair was held at Epernay Plaza in the city of Middelkerke, Belgium. Booths were set up to sell arts and crafts, display the activities of non-profit organizations, and present different styles of dancing. The Falun Dafa Association of Belgium also debuted at the fair to introduce the practice. Thousands of visitors attended the fair.

Some practitioners demonstrated the exercises while others passed out fliers about the practice and the persecution happening in China. About 200 visitors each received a beautiful paper lotus flower. Some people bought the books Zhuan Falun and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.
Some visitors told the practitioners that they liked their booth very much because there was a peaceful and calm field. One lady had never heard of Falun Dafa before. She saw the name and came to the Falun Dafa booth; she immediately felt a strong energy field. For many years, she has been searching for the true meaning of life and read many books, but without a satisfying answer. When she learned that the main book of Falun Dafa is Zhuan Falun, she instantly bought a copy.
Two ladies were moved to tears at the Falun Dafa booth. One middle-aged lady hugged a practitioner who told her the truth of the persecution and said, "Falun Gong let me feel warm and immersed." Another lady had recently recovered from breast cancer. She looked at a Chinese practitioner doing the meditation and said, "It's so beautiful! I have never seen such a beautiful exercise."
Mr. Alphonse D'Heye is an artist and his works were displayed in the hall of a casino facing the Falun Dafa practitioners' booth. In the afternoon, he came over and talked to practitioners for a long time. He was very interested in Falun Gong and took many introductory materials. Later, a practitioner recognized him and remembered that he had helped promote the Shen Yun Performing Arts show in Bruges, Belgium.
At the fair, many visitors expressed their gratitude to the practitioners and their concern over the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
