Police in Huaiyang County, Henan Province, Threaten Sick Husband in Order to Find Wife
(Clearwisdom.net) On June 29, 2010, at around 1 p.m., police officer Liu Guanhua of the State Security Division of Huaiyang County, Henan Province, and officer Wang Le drove a police car to the local hospital and issued a summons to a man who was receiving intravenous treatments.
The man was the husband of a Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. He Junying. He had been hospitalized since he was experiencing difficulty moving one side of his body. His wife, Ms. He, had been forced to leave their home to avoid persecution.
The summons delivered by policemen ordered him to immediately report to the Huaiyang County Police Bureau, State Security Division, for interrogation. Furthermore, it said that if he did not go, he would be arrested. Therefore, Ms. He's husband, with help from his son, had to have the IV removed and take a bus to the police station.
Police officer Wang Le asked the husband whether Ms. He had ever come home. The husband said that she had not. Then the policeman threatened him, saying, "If you know she has come home but do not report to us, you are violating the law."
When the husband asked for their cell phone numbers so that he could contact the police, they refused to provide their phone numbers.
