(Clearwisdom.net) Police and 610 Office agents arrested Mr. Peng Jilong on the afternoon of May 26, 2010, in front of his residential building. The police ransacked his home and took his computer away about thirty minutes later. Mr. Peng is currently being detained at the Baixia District Brainwashing Center.
In late April 2007, Baixia District 610 Office agents arrested and sent Mr. Peng to a brainwashing center where he was tortured, deprived of sleep, forced to stand for a long period of time, and pressured to give up his faith, but Mr. Peng never gave in. After three months, he was transferred to the Fangqiang Forced Labor Camp for an 18-month term.
Guards in the camp deprived him of sleep, and forced him do to slave labor. A guard once slapped him so hard that fluid gushed out of his ear, and he almost lost hearing in that ear. Mr. Peng has refused to do labor ever since.
Mr. Peng had just been released from the forced labor camp for a few months when he was arrested again. His wife, Ms. Ni Xueying, was arrested in 2001 and sentenced to eight years in prison in the Nantong Women's Prison. In the 11 years of persecution, the couple has hardly been together.
