(Clearwisdom.net) Two days ago, my friend told me a funny story. This incident really happened in a city in Liaoning Province. It has been said that nowadays one can find Falun Gong informational materials such as flyers, booklets, VCDs, etc., everywhere in China. Once you look up you will see signs and banners with the words "Heaven will eliminate the CCP," "Renounce your CCP membership to ensure your safety" and "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." More and more people have learned the facts, and more and more people have renounced their memberships to the CCP and its affiliated organisations.
This is a problem for the 610 Office, which is responsible for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. The personnel of this office are helpless in this situation. They are very frightened of the truth and very angry. They frequently go to the street committee and district residence committee and ordere them to confiscate these truth-clarification materials and remove the signs and banners.
In the beginning, the personnel of these committees took this task seriously. But as time went by, they realized that they would have to lie to their supperiors in the CCP. If they reported that the Falun Gong materials were all over the place and reported the real figures, the CCP would not praise them, but instead criticise them for being incompetent. These truth-clarification materials exposed the evil crimes of the CCP and introduced the wonderfulness of Falun Gong. They urged people to pay attention to accumulating virtue, and to be kind and good. They also talked about real people and real events, and warned that good begets good and evil begets evil. Whoever read these materials benefited from it. The personnel of the residence and street commitee were the first readers of these materials after they had confiscated them. As time went by and they understood the truth about Falun Gong, would they still do those things, which go against earthly and heavenly laws?
One day, a residence committee chief received a phone call informing her that personnel from the 610 Office would be coming down to do a spot check. She told her subordinates to remove the bigger truth-clarification banners and signs in order to satisfy these people. Her subordinates smiled and agreed, but in fact did not do anything. When the head of the 610 Office came to the district, the moment he got out of the car, he was greeted with a "Falun Dafa is good" banner. This person was extremely agitated and immediately summoned the residence committee chief and pointed at the banner, saying "What is happening here?" The chief said with much composure, "This banner has just been put up. This Falun Gong person was miraculously swift. As soon as you take one down, when you turn your back another appears. Furthermore, I want to clarify that this banner was not put up by the Falun Gong practitioners of this district. It was done by practitioners who were passing by. Nowadays, there are many Falun Gong practitioners travelling around and passing by. This is out of our jurisidication and we are not to be held responsible for it."
The intelligent residence committee chief did not let the 610 Office use this incident to criticise her, and at the same time she also cleverly protected Falun Gong practitioners. The 610 Office personnel were thus helpless. From then on the story of the "passing-by Falun Gong practitioner" became a joke and also a way by which the personnel of the district residence committee with a sense of justice dealt with the 610 Office.
