(Clearwisdom.net) LOUVAIN-LA-NEUVE, Belgium--Sébastien Morgan, a journalist for Wolvendael Magazine, a south-Brussels newspaper, wants everyone to see the Shen Yun Performing Arts show wherever in the world they might be.

"I think there is an important message to convey. This show is one of the channels able to convey this message of spirituality, peace, tolerance, which are missing today," he said.

The New York-based Shen Yun portrays China's 5,000-year-old divine culture in classical Chinese dance, music and song, down through the ages to the present.

"Great, very good, for different reasons ... wonderful, perfect, very exotic. I think that we aim for aesthetic perfection here--very beautiful," Mr. Morgan said.

He also liked the spirit of the show, the "call to stand up for freedom," as depicted in the dance Astounding Conviction.

"This message of spirituality conveyed by the show-this has moved me a lot in an aesthetic and a spiritual way."

Sebastien Morgan, a journalist for Wolvendael Magazine.

Mr. Morgan said Shen Yun was not just one picture, but a lot of images. "If I close my eyes, I can see plenty of colors, I can see plenty of dances-there are so many things. I think there are several pictures, at several different levels.

"Of course, there is this picture of the repression, [Nothing Can Block the Divine Path], a very, very strong picture. It is moving when the little girl is hit, all that, it is very moving. And then there are all these pictures, all these dances, like this dance, in this village, [In a Miao Village], with the silver necklaces. All this is also very moving, very beautiful."

Shen Yun trademarks story-based dance adapted from China's beloved legends, folk tales and modern stories, complemented by high-tech backdrops and a live orchestra playing a blend of Western and Chinese musical composition.

Mr. Morgan said he was "a big fan" of Chinese instrumentals.

However, there was such an Asian spirit that conveyed feelings and emotions.

"Maybe this is something we have lost here in the West, where we generally hide the feelings more," Mr. Morgan said.

He said he would tell others to experience Shen Yun for themselves in a blog he has created.

"I'll tell everyone that can read it to go see the show, everywhere in the world, because, that is really worth it. I think there is an important message to convey today, in the actual situation. I think this show is one of the channels able to convey this message of spirituality, peace, tolerance, which are missing today."
