(Clearwisdom.net) On May 3, 2010, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Song Fenzhen from Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province was arrested while she went shopping. Afterwards, her family received a notification saying that she would be detained for 15 days and released on May 18, 2010.
On May 15, 2010, Ms. Song's family received the shocking news that she had been sent to a forced labor camp for a one-year term. However, her family had no knowledge regarding when Ms. Song was sent away or why she was sent to a forced labor camp.
Ms. Song Fenzhen had once gone to Tiananmen Square to validate the righteousness of Falun Dafa. Her son was young at the time and her husband divorced her because he could not bear the huge pressure of the persecution. Ms. Song eventually stopped practicing Falun Gong because of the persecution she experienced. However, after years of suffering, she gradually became clearheaded. She finally realized that the Chinese Communist Party's high-pressure "transformation" (i.e. forcing Falun Gong practitioners to give up their belief in Falun Dafa) is to deprive people of their freedom of belief. Therefore, Song Fenzhen resumed practicing Falun Gong. During this same time, her husband remarried her under the effect of Falun Dafa's wonderful inspiration.
