(Clearwisdom.net) State Security Division officers from Liquan County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Feng Jianying, Mr. Zhao Yaer and Mr. Hu Mingyou on April 25, 2010. The police confiscated the 27,000 yuan that Mr. Hu had saved up over many years. Ms. Feng Jianzhen's home was ransacked and her whereabouts are unknown.
Several plainclothes police officers broke into Ms. Feng Jianying's home at around 7:00 am on April 25, 2010. Not presenting a search warrant, they searched her home and confiscated many Falun Gong books and informational materials, as well as a DVD player, a satellite TV receiver, and two satellite dishes. They took Ms. Feng into custody.
According to an eyewitness, more than a dozen police officers hid near practitioner Ms. Zhao Yaer's home, while one of them knocked on the door. Once the door was opened, all of them rushed into the house. They forced open a wooden box and confiscated all of the Falun Gong books in the box and a computer. They took Ms. Zhao into custody.
Mr. Hu Mingyou, in his 70s, was arrested and his rented residence ransacked. As mentioned above, police did this almost at the same time on April 25, 2010. They stole Mr. Hu's savings totaling 27,000 yuan. They also confiscated two printers, a laptop computer, a laminating machine, a DVD player, a TV set, a CD burner and many blank CDs, and small items such as wires and patch boards.
According to residents from Poshangcun Village, Shixing Township, the police kicked open the gate to Ms. Feng Jianzhen's home when family members were absent. They climbed in through windows, tore a satellite dish from the roof and ransacked her home. Ms. Feng's whereabouts are unknown. According to an eyewitness, the police confiscated a printer, a TV player, a satellite dish and other items. The house was left a mess.
The police also went to harass practitioners Mr. Yuan Guangwu and Mr. Chen Liang from Jianling Township that same day.
The arrested practitioners were released early in the morning of April 26, 2010. They decided to stay away from home and move from place to place in order to avoid further persecution.
Participating in the arrest, harassment and home ransacking were officers from the Xianyang City State Security Division and personnel from Liquan County headed by Luo Weigang.
