(Clearwisdom.net) Early last year, I was released from the Third Division of Sihui Prison in Guangdong Province. While in the prison, I met a Falun Gong practitioner. I would like to take this opportunity to share what I saw.

In 2006, there were four Falun Gong practitioners, with three in the first workshop and one in the second workshop. In the first workshop, there were Yu Xinhui, Xu Shuhua, and Ouyang Jie. In the second workshop, there was Luo Xufeng. Later on, Yu Xinhui was transferred. In August 2008, Xu Shuhua and Ouyang Jie were released. When Mr. Ouyang was still around, I was staying with him in the same cell.

In early 2006, Mr. Ouyang was transferred to the Third Division from the Logistics Division. When he arrived, his health was poor. He had fallen ill several times while he was there. Each time he would get muscle spasms in his arms and legs, and his body would get very rigid. He would also lose consciousness for long periods of time. In the Third Division, there was a system in which three prisoners where assigned to closely monitor him every moment, even when going to the restroom. I was not allowed to talk with him, except for towards the end of the day for a few moments. The prisoners in his team were very strict with him. His team leader was Sun Yong, who had a close relationship with the party secretary at the Third Division. He was a very malicious man. I remember once when Mr. Ouyang was sick, Sun Yong hit him in the ribs, causing him great pain for a long period of time. He would beat Mr. Ouyang very badly. Party Secretary Qiu also beat him and Mr. Yu Xinhui.

When Mr. Ouyang Jie was in the Third Division, he wrote to Shang Dongping, the director of Sihui Prison. There was one paragraph in which he wrote: "When the prison knew that I was innocent, officers in the prison should have reported it to the higher level officers, and asked for justice." He had suffered a lot in prison. I also know that when he was in the Shenzhen Detention Center, he wrote to Premier Wen Jiabao and the Guangdong Province Supreme Court to report his unjust trial and the horrible treatment he had received in prison.
