(Clearwisdom.net) Yuanlin, Taiwan--Changhua City Orchestra director Chang Hsin-rong has attended the Shen Yun Performing Arts' shows every year since 2007.
After seeing the Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company's 2010 premiere in Changhua at the Changhua County Yuanlin Performance Hall on April 6, she said that Shen Yun's illustration of Chinese culture was perfect. She feels that Shen Yun's showcase of traditional Chinese culture is so precious that she has attended the show every year since 2007.

"In addition to the perfect demonstration of Chinese culture, the combination of the overall dance performance, the dynamic backdrops and the orchestra was fantastic, even though these elements belong to different artistic fields.
"That's why [Shen Yun] is so popular nowadays. It is really not easy to come by."
"Upon seeing the Shen Yun show for the first time, I felt the magic power of this group," she added.
When Shen Yun made its debut in Yuanlin Performance Hall last year, Ms. Chang watched the show with her parents. This time, she invited many friends to attend.
She exclaimed happily, "The show's high quality makes me feel proud. My friends also enjoyed it very much, so they are grateful to me for inviting them to the performance. I believe they may take their friends and family to see the show next year."
She was greatly touched by the vocal performance and the lyrics, "because the human voice tends to touch people's hearts more easily, I love the vocal performances each year. The vocalists were really great," she added.

Ms. Chang and her friends were also deeply touched by the program Nothing Can Block the Divine Path.
"It was very succinct and very powerful, and it clearly expressed that truth is something right, and evil will never overpower truth."
In addition, she was also impressed with the dance Wu Song Battles the Tiger being included in the program marking the lunar calendar, Year of the Tiger.
"I will always remember there was a program by the name of Wu Song Battles the Tiger when I attended the Shen Yun show in the Year of the Tiger," she concluded.
Deeply Moved by the Tolerance
Ms. Hung Tsai-Ling, counselor of Changhua City Orchestra, was attracted to the show by Shen Yun's famous reputation, and made sure to attend the renowned company's opening performance in the Changhua area on April 6.
Ms. Hung had heard of the exquisite performance of Shen Yun before, and she made sure to attend the show this year.
Ms. Hung Tsai-Ling, counselor of the Changhua City Orchestra, was attracted to the show by Shen Yun's reputation.
"The choreography of Shen Yun incorporates dances of various ethnic groups. The body movements and facial expressions of all the dancers indicated that they had committed tremendous effort to the show. The entire performance was just superb," Ms. Hung said.
She was touched by the dances and cultures of various Chinese nationalities displayed during the performances, and said, "I think the exhibition of the characteristics of various ethnic groups is one of tolerance. We should pay respect to every ethnic group."
Ms. Hung was deeply moved by the extent of tolerance demonstrated by the Shen Yun performance and was particularly affected by the dance drama Nothing can Block the Divine Path.
She said it would be very hard for those who live in Taiwan to imagine how Falun Gong practitioners could hold onto their steadfast beliefs in the face of brutal persecution in China. Through the Shen Yun performance, she felt "Living in a land as pure, happy and fortunate as Taiwan is truly something that we should cherish."
Shen Yun's illustration of the real situation about Falun Gong practitioners in China at present highly impressed Hung Tsai-Ling. She said she had been to China and had seen Falun Gong activities there and in Taiwan. She commented, "A group of people continue to devote themselves to these matters quietly. It is truly admirable."
